  1. Thanks for the continued comments. I worked on the dump body and working on where to locate the exhaust pipes, batteries, air tanks and the hydrilic tank. I'm going to run the exhaust pipes on top of the frame it allows the dump body to be closer to the cab. Here's a picture of where I'm at.
  2. Very nice rig. The detail one the front grill looks perfect
  3. Juergen great looking Mack. Thanks for sharing how you install your glass on resin cabs. I'm in the middle of building one now an have done just what you have.
  4. Thanks guys for the comments. Larry your friends Bighorn would of been a regular one where my here is a short nose that were never put into production. Dodge only made 2 of the short nose as pre production models.
  5. Thanks for the encouragement guys I appreachate your comments.
  6. Gator I'm going to use aluminum Alclad. Vernon thanks for the picture it has the details I'm looking for.
  7. Thanks Dennis, todays work was to dechrome the dump body and work on getting the cab to set level. I also got the steering linkage hooked up. Heres a couple pictures
  8. Jacobus I can't agree more with Gator. Great subjects to build and having fun building them.
  9. Terry nice scratch building on the tail gate. I would do like Rob sugessted and put some paint on it before deciding to redo it.
  10. Thanks Vernon I was hoping it was correct as is. I cut the frame and added 35 scale inches it was the same 35" I cut out of the Bighorn.
  11. Thanks for the comments guys. Gator yes the front is high I've had to grind out the inside of the radiator to get it to level out in my next pictures you will see the correction.
  12. Test mock up to see how everything is lining up. The cab will need some grinding on the inside for the radiator to fit and allow the front to set a little lower to label every thing. Im not sure if there should be a roof vent that is on this one and is it in the correct location? Checking pictures it's hard to tell if some had the roof vent and some didn't so I'm not sure if it should stay or remove it
  13. Brian nice flooring I've used the same wood grain contact paper.
  14. Rob you have this Diamond RIO coming together nicely.
  15. Larry great work on your scratch built carrier deck crane. Looks a Grove what did you use for your reference?
  16. Thanks for all the support and comments I appreciate them. I still had some more work to do on the rims so here they are finished.
  17. I've decided to use the Mack frame with a hendexerson rear suspension still have some work left to do on the frame including adding some frame to allow the dumper to fit. Started painting the rims yellow next will be to pain the spokes black. I'm going to use a chrome hub cap in the center of them.
  18. Excellent build your weathering and attention to the details makes it look so real!
  19. Thanks for your comments Dave and Rick.
  20. Tom looking good I like your tires and rims change out.
  21. Excellent project! Your work is fantastic with the weathering.
  22. Ok with the Bighorn finished it now full time on the Brockway. I've been cleaning up the cab and sprayed some primer to help find area's that still need clean up. Striped the chrome off the rims I'm going for a black and yellow on them and have started working on the frame. I'm going to have to shorten the frame some but still need to figure out how much to cut.
