  2. Summer got busy for me and not much time to work on this one. I've was able to get some time on it today manly going over what I've done on it so far. I did attach the rear axel assembly to the frame and the hydraulic controls.
  3. Looking good Joe. I like seeing the old pictures of the old models we built as kids.
  4. Nice work on the roll back. Now I've got to get back working on mine seeing yours.
  5. Joe I've used the Lazy Modeler flame templates and they work very nice. Just make sure you have them aligned before placing them. They are very hard to make adjustments to after they are placed.
  6. Thanks Ira Joe I'm going to work with the Alclad and keep my fingers crossed it comes out Miles it going to go with the series of AMT kits that they had with the Hot Rod tandem axels
  7. Thanks Carl Next I'm going to spray chrome Alcad to the frames on the bed and a little more to the fuel tanks to make them more shiny.

  12. Joe one step back 2 steps forward the brakes look great!
  13. Joe way to stay with it on some hard to apply decals. Looks like you got it it. Good luck on the the next one.
  14. Joe I'm going to pipe up some stacks for each side.
  15. Added the upper supports for the sign boards and have received my new carbs and transfer case for the hydraulic pump. I'm thinking of going with a black bed chrome rails. And a black frame.
  16. I'm planning to make the HAMS show in August. I hope to have the Roll Back done.
  17. I have not had much time to spend at the bench lately still working on some details with the hydraulic system. I have this very poor picture of how I built this rig back in the 70's as a kid. This is a picture of the only picture that I still have of it. The model is long gone now and back then between my older brother and I we were limited with what materials we had to use in customizing our builds. So this is what has inspired me into building my current version of it.
  18. Joe you would not be having so much fun with this build if it didn't keep pushing you with these problems. You have done great so far keep it going.
