  1. KJ looking forward to see what you do with this KW.
  2. Looking forward to see how you paint this one.
  3. I've built one of each going with the single I just removed the existing and drilled out opening for the singles. I used a set of head lights from the Dodge L700 kit.
  4. Pat looking so far. Are you staying with the early 60's head lights or change them out to the single head lights?
  5. James I will a little in a couple places over all it's not as thick as some resin cabs.
  6. Worked on getting the interior to fit in the cab it was a little to wide to fit all the way in an also worked on getting the firewall trimmed to fit as well. Added the battery boxes. I'm de-chroming the fuel tanks they will be black to match the frame.
  7. Sam I can't agree more on the thick resin but AITM has a nice selection of old trucks and has them in stock.
  8. Gator looks like you picked a interesting build looking forward to see some pictures.
  9. I realized today that the AMT Frightliner has the rear surspension that the reference truck has so I went over to Hobby Lobby and picked one up and made the change out. Also more work on the engine and with paint.
  10. Looking forward to see what you do with this one.
  11. I think maybe the mini piano hinges would work best.
  12. Joe, this will be a very interesting build.
  13. I've got the resin cab setting in some Wesly bleach to clean off any left over mold release.
  14. Scott welcome to truck building. Here's a site with Dodge truck information http://www.olddodges.com/index1.htm and Google dodge L600 Truck
  15. Pat I have not but the next one I get I plan to. I believe that if you score the lines good and then finish it off with a razor saw it will come apart and then you would be able to thin the pieces. It will look very impressive with the fenders opened and the hood up.
  16. Jon looking forward to see you build this kit.
  17. Pat great selection I've built 2 of these and both have car transporters behind them. Are you going to open up the hood and swing fenders?
  18. Jacobus, this is going to be a fantastic build.
  19. Thanks for the approval of my build I will be taking lots of pictures of my progress. This truck is going to be similar to the first real big truck that I was able to get a ride in when I was a 15 year old kid. All I remember is it was a 10 wheeler Brockway and a cool looking truck.
  20. Ray looking forward to see what you do with the KW.
  21. Steven looking forward to see your build.
  22. Terry this is going to be a very cool build.
  23. This will be a very interesting build to watch.
