I cant believe there is a movie about trucks i havent seen yet. that will be a nice build. are you planning on putting the motor cycle on the cat walk like in the picture. thats somthing i havent seen on a model truck. that would be real cool. and that trailer looks pretty close to the amt dryvan kit.
  2. hello hessel i pull a 55 ton talbert and once in a while i pull a 55 ton fontaine beam trailer that also has a detachable goose neck. if thats what yoUr looking for i'll take some pictures for you.

  4. the company i drive for has some tri axle macks that they plow up. and we jump in them when it snows over six inches. we were suposed to get a little snow out here in south eastern pa.this weekend but all we got was rain.

  9. wheels schmeels. if they keep repopping them i'll keep buying them. the repop of the amt dryvan is the same trailer as the watkins reefer minus the reefer unit and decals.but if you go to gmscustoms.com they have the thermoking units.

  11. thanks for the info. i seen the bj and the bear and the blue one from amt. and revell made one too. but this one has esci/ertle on it. which is the first time i ever seen that.
  12. ok i got alittle excited and bought it anyway.i'll probably regret the 86 dollers i just plunked down but i've been building these truck kits since the70's and i never seen one.i checked again and its not an amt\ertle it says esci\ertle.
  13. hello anybody familiar with ertle's version of the 1\25scale kw areodyne coe. i never seen one from ertle before.their is one on ebay now and i'm thinking of buying it.can anybody tell me about this kit.thankyou.

  15. thanks for the pictures and info.those are some very nice transtars.over the weekend i did try my hand at changing the kit grill to the 1970.after dinner i will try to put up some pictures to show.i would like everybodys opinon on it before i bare metal foil and paint it.i know i'm going to have trouble putting pictures up because i never did that before.and thanks again for everybodys help. ps.thats after eastcoast dinner time. lol.
  16. hello everyone. just rejoined. and blew the dust off some unfinished models. one is a transtar co4070a. i am building a 1970.and didnt relize how much different the kit was from the year iam building.i figured outjust about every thing.like.freshair vents up front.the different turnsignal position.the bodylines on the bottom of the cab below the side compartments.and the driverside stepladder.my question is the grill.i know the 1970,model had less bars then the one the kit coms with. but i can not find the real truck to take messurements. theirs not many of these around anymore.i have plenty of pictures but what i need to know is if the bars on the older model are thicker because they do look thicker in the picture. and how far apart where the bars. any help will be greatly appreciated.
