  1. model truck'in.com might have them.
  2. around here they use retired school busses for lunch wagons. Hmm! a set of propane tanks on the back,1/25scale menus on the side, and a honda genorator mounted on the front.that might be an idea.
  3. isn't that what kamotsu and kawasaki did with their heavy equipment?.the kawasaki loaders i haul have cummins engines in them. and from what i heard, kamotsu,(if i'm spelling that right) took a cat and copied it.i don't know how true that is but thats what i was told. and if it is i wonder if cat sued them.
  4. you may have to add a r700 hood on it if your going to stuff a cat under the hood. i remember back in the day.r models that had anything like a cat or cummins,or even a v8 mack where all r700s. roadway had some with detroits in them.
  5. very nice! what did you use on the fuel tanks?they look like real alluminum.
  6. i noticed on chucky's picture with the blue argosy day cab the fithwheel was slid all the way up almost to the back of the cab. years ago CF used to run through the state of pennslyvania like that, with the fithwheel slid all the way up to get legal lenth with a set of doubles.it got the nickname pennslyvania doubles.some of you old timmers that ran through pa back in the day might remember that.
  7. i'll take two! the chevy titan should be a good donor for this.
  8. i say you nailed it right on the head!,looks just like the picture.amazing! by the way.that b model in your avatar.was that at the macungie truck show?
  9. thats definitely an old r model mack, and judging by the old style after cooler on the driverside of the engine, its mid to late 70's.ether a 300,or 300plus hp.engine.just goes to show you how tuff those old macks realy where.

  13. dave and moebius are awsome!
  14. both bumpers look good on this truck.i myself like the older style bumper with the white bumper extention.or even a texas style would look nice.

  17. very nice. don't see many of them any more.
  18. thanks leo.the only trucks i drove with detroits where the 4200 series internationals and some louisville fords.they all had internal air breathers. as far as cats i drove some kw's some had 1693's the others had 3406's none with the 3408. and the rest of my trucking career was and still is spent looking threw a windsheild at the rearend of a bulldog lol!
  19. did anybody notice the luberefiner is on the passenger side on the box art? i know it doesn't matter. but was wondering if the instructions show to build it that way. i thought all 359's had the air breather on the passenger side and the luberefiner on the driver side in the early years,
