  2. hello leo not sure of the exact year of the amt 352 its late 60's early 70's so i'am going to say detroit or cummins.not sure if pete started using the yellow engines back then. tim is the peterbuilt expert. i am sure he can help you better.
  3. i like the color combo. very nice build.
  4. it said hobbs on the mudflaps on the trailer. but it looked like a fruehauf to me.from what i was told, hobbs was a division of fruehauf.so i whould say the amt watkins 40ft reefer whould be a close match.
  5. very nice largecars! a nice spread axle flatbed would look really good behined that orange and white pete.
  6. awesome! whats that square looking box on the right side fender for?
  7. talk about locomotives. does anybody remember the spirit of 76' from tyco? i got one for christmas.still have the engine and caboose.can't remember what happened to the rest of the set.
  8. nice clean build. you did a nice job on the interior too.
  9. i remember kenworth had the vit. which i still like today. mack also had the stars and stripes.
  10. awsome! the grain trailer looks like the one on the transtar 2 box art.
  11. hey george that looks great. that paint job looks like it might be tricky to do. did you change the tires on the truck? they look like the goodyears on it. instead of the uniroyals.
  12. hello dave i see your from pa.i went to the truck show in macungie a couple of weeks ago and dave natale was there with alot of his products.he had a rubberduck assembled and in a case. he was raffeling it off. did you attend the show this year? welcome back to modeling.
  13. comming along nicely can't wait to see it done. like the gsxr in your avatar.is that a yoshimora pipe on it?
  14. hello franck i remember my dad bought a new transtar 2 back in1976 the interior was maroon but so was the truck. i remember going with him to look at them.and i saw some with black interiors and some with tan. but they all seemed to have a black dash. i think 1976 was the first year for the black steering wheel. i'm not 100% sure but i think the transtar2 kit is a 1976. hope this helps.
  15. welcome franck. you will meet the most freindly and helpful people here. the front wheels on the transtar2 have to be moved in about 8mm and the front axle moved forward abit i think 8mm also. some builders cut the backing of the wheel it self. some shorten the axle. what ever way seems best. hope this helps.
  16. yes they all look great. but the jimmy is my favorite too.
  17. i would take the front end from the b87 and put it on the sleeper cab. the bmodel cabs where all pretty much the same. or you could go with the mercury sleeper from the dimond reo kit. and you could build both b models
  18. that truck looks like it would be right at home up in north jersey pulling containers around the piers.i like it!
  19. i thought i was the only one with a 15 to 20 year wip on the bench.lol. the house has been taking up alot of my time. its one of those houses where you fix somthing and somthing else breaks.but anyway your builds are comming along nicely. whats the cruiseliner going to be with that tank on it?
  20. very nice! those kits seem to build very well. the paint job looks great! what kind of trailer are you hooking it to?
  21. hello tyson your kw is comming along very nice. i have a question. i've been looking at this kit on ebay.and i was wondering if it's lefthand drive. or righthand?
  22. i remember i think it was overdrive magazine they used to have the truck of the month and the model truck of the month. but any how thats a really nice build you got there. do you still have that model?
