  1. is that considered a mid engine car since the engine is in the back.just kidding.your weathering is awesome.that car kind of reminds me of the cars i would see sitting on someones lawn.on those old back roads in new jersey heading towards the shore.
  2. i would'nt call it a show truck or spend 18,500 on it etheir.but i do like it! always liked that body style chevy truck.
  3. casey you made the right choice not to do a full restore on the diamond reo.she looks just fine! i wish i still had some of the models my dad and i built when i was younger.

  5. the pto switches came out nice, that f model mack in the back ground looks interesting too.
  6. after 10 years of haul'in rocksalt and pushing snow it'll need an overhaul,that ol'ten wheel dump is look'in good!

  10. your h model is looking great, your diamond reo is comming along very well too.you do very nice work.i know what you mean by the weather.it's been cold for this time of year here in the north eastern part of the states too,i have two chassies and a cab waiting for paint.

  12. hello richard,welcome to the forum.as far as i know,no they were never offered with the love truckstop logo.there is a web site called model truck'in.com.he has a bunch of custom decals for 1/25 scale model trucks.
  13. looking good mark;years ago here in philly we had an oscar meyers plant near the produce market,and they use to run daycab petes like the one your working on.the drivers used to call them slim jims.i guess because of the slim cabs and the color they were painted.they were red and yellow llike the slim jim rappers.
  14. nice! very clean.thats an old pa license plate on the bumper.that probably would be correct for that year truck.i picked up one of these kits too.was thinking about building the short nose version.

  18. wow! your build looks great! my mom had one of them,brand new in '81 white with brown interior.that car ran forever.i think she had 225,000 on it when she traded it in.don't see them much any more.their is a red one i see once in a while around here still perculating,and there is a silver blue horizon still around too.

  20. you'll see alot of those old routmasters running around center city philadelphia in the warmer months,they chopped the roofs off of them and use them for sightseeing.
  21. i remember reading somewhere that someone drilled out the lugnuts then cut down finishing nails then put them in the holes with the pointed end sticking out.
  22. just did a trade with brinx,everything went smooth,he's a great person to trade with.item was shipped fast,and packed nice.the parts arrived in perfect condition.
  23. has anyone used this glue?just bought it at hobbytown.the guy in the store said it was the best glue out there. would like to get the opinon of the members of this forum.the name of the glue is faller.
  24. i don't remember seeing any in resin,the one on the real truck looked like an aftermarket sleeper.it was pretty much just a square box if i remember correctly.you might be able to scratch build it.
