  1. anyone going to the antique truck show in Macungie pa.this weekend?
  2. very nice pete! flatbed with a side kit painted to match the tractor.
  3. cool! I didn't know I could vote more than once. ok let me go vote again.
  4. I don't know what a bmi is. but I been driving trucks over 25 years now and notice that every couple of years they come up with something new for us to go through but the rates never seem to go up. the dot should take a look at the way some of the 4 wheelers drive around us. but looking at both sides, it wouldn't hurt to try and be a little healthier and a little safer.
  5. that's looking real nice Jeffrey! and those decals are an excellent choice for that truck.
  6. hello mark, looking at your pictures the amt kit is pretty close to the year of your dads truck. the steps that come with the kit were something freight liner was experimenting with from what I was told, so they were only avalible on a low number of trucks. a lot of guys who build this kit close the opening and put a single step on it. probably what your dads truck had. I only ever built this kit once and it was right out of the box. and from hanging around this forum for a while I learned a lot. like two things I never notice about this kit was the head lights are to high, and the front wheels stick out to far. other than that the only thing you'll need is the 1693 which I remember seeing in resin some where. old buckaroo is a member here that back dated his freightliner and did an excellent job on it. if you go back to page 4 in the under glass section you'll see his 1968 freightliner. I hope this helps.
  7. nice paint job! I also like the spread axle on the trailer. very nice build!
  8. I don't know what that driver in the freight shaker was thinking. but you gotta love them f150's I got over 300,000 on my "91 and she still runs strong.
  9. I wish they would reissue that one my self! I would definitely buy at least 4.saw one on ebay a month ago sold for $259.00 not counting shipping.but then again you could also buy 2 amt k123 kits and build something very close to that for around 60 bucks.
  10. now that's a big sleeper! looking good JT.
  11. that's gotta be one of the coolest 1/32 builds I've ever seen!
  12. nice build! it kind of reminds me of the old sears trucks I used to see around back in the day.
  13. excellent! you'll do very well in the contest.
