I have a friend that wants to buy the 1/25 scale of the MPC version of the General Lee for me to build. Is the MPC kit the only, and best version of this car?

Very cool build. I’ve been thinking of doing this build myself, as I used to drag race a 92 Firebird Formula. At least I don’t need pics, because I can build it from memory. I used to run Centerline Convo Pros on mine but can’t seem to find any of these wheels in 1/24 scale. The Revell Nova has Centerlines, but in 1/25 scale. I’ll be following along in this build.

I found a nice RB intake from Scale Parts. I paid over a week ago, and messaged them asking for an email confirmation. I got no reply as of yet.

Fantastic work. All those Mopars look great. I like the rear light work you performed. The lights on those old Lindberg kits should be like the Johan tail lights.

Found an intake online from 3D ScaleParts. Has anyone ordered from them? Are they reputable?

I hear ya. I built 14 Thunderbolt cars, as I acquired all these decals for them. I enjoyed building every one of them. I have the Lee Smith car, that I started when Moebius put the Plymouth AWB cars out. I wanna finish that up, and probably do the Al Eckstrand Golden Commandos car as on the box art.

The Dodge came out very nice. Love the interior. Is this your first Moebius AWB, Bill? I omitted the roof decal on mine. I’ve seen pictures with and without it.

Is this what you are looking for? Golfer made these. Maybe you can make the 429 look like a 428? All it would take is a tiny dab of black paint. I can even send you the 429 so you won’t have to buy the whole sheet. I’ll never use the 429.

Thanks again for the replies. I have a couple manifolds coming from Iceman. I decided to pull the Hemi heads off the moebius engine, and add the heads for a 440. I built a manifold from spare parts to resemble a B1. There is a guy on eBay that has a bunch of resin parts, and I put in a max bid, and was outbid. I’m not going to rebid, as the parts don’t look that great to warrant a higher bid. I think this wedge engine will look pretty good when I’m all finished with it.

Or, just go with an inline, two four barrel set up.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Yes, now that I think about it, I definitely want the ports to be spaced correctly. I see an EFI unit that Iceman has, that I can convert to make it look like the one here…

Does anyone have or know of someone that has a manifold similar to this?

With all the parts in my bins, I can’t find an intake to convert the Moebius Hemi to a single carb hi rise B1 style intake. Does anyone know of someone who casts one? I’ve checked Iceman, and VCG, but came up empty. I already have the hood and scoop set up for an inline type intake over the cross ram style.
