  1. The little tabs on the glass slide into the slots on top of the door panels. I’d glue them in first, then assemble. You might have to reach in through the front windshield opening to pry the door panels to make it all pop in. I never tried it the way you suggested, but I’d give it a try. I’ve had problems with the side windows, but on the Dodge cars though. That Tamiya Titanium Gold looks pretty good on the interior. I’ve been using Champage, with a coat of smoke. So, how do you like building the Moebius AWB cars?
  2. Moebius 65 Coronet, that I plan on building into a solid 9 second drag car. Should look totally streetable, except for the roll bar, parachute, and other safety equipment. Undecided if I want a Lenco transmission, or just use the supplied one behind the hemi. Looking to paint it some shade of blue. This blue car on YouTube got my mind goin’
  3. Thanks again guys. I masked and painted the stripes, and I brushed Vallejo Air on the rear trunk that surrounds the decal. Yes, getting the body and interior to seat. The two Plymouths I built just seemed to go together easier on final assembly. I don’t know if it’s the tabs on the side windows, or I wasn’t doing something right, but I had to reach into to car through the front windshield and pry the door panels with an exacto knife, to get the tabs in. No big deal though. Still a fun build regardless.
  4. Thanks for the replies. Yes, Tim, I used the trans from the 68 Hemi Dart kit.
  5. They look great. How do I get in touch with him? Website?
  6. Built this out of the box, except for wires, parachute, and seatbelts. The chute that comes in this kit, is the same one from the Plymouth kits, and doesn’t fit the Dodge properly. Other than that, it’s a fun kit. During assembly the drivers window popped out, so I figured it would be ok with only the passenger window. But then that popped out too. So instead of prying it back apart and chipping the paint, I just left it. I used 2 part epoxy on the Landy cars side windows, and they stayed in place. I have one more Plymouth AWB kit in my stash, and plan on building the Golden Commandos car soon.
  7. Completed the Landy Dodge. In my opinion, the Dodge kit is a tad more finicky in final assembly than the Plymouths are. A few wires under the hood, annd a chute from my parts bin, and decals from Slixx, and I added an 3-D printed grill I bought off eBay.
  8. Maybe we can get a list together and get it to be a sticky?
  9. I’ve head that same thing about Smiths car as well. Which reminds me I have to get back to that build as well. Still looking for decent decals, as Fremont doesn’t seem to have them anymore.
  10. The deer family is constantly stopping by since my wife put her bird feeders out. IMG_0314.mov
  11. All I know from what I’ve read, is the short stack cars were stick shift, and the longs were automatic. I’m sure in all the testing and tuning they did in the 60s, some guys did some different things to their cars. One thing is for sure Bill, is the info doesnt come easy on these cars. I just finished the Strickland AWB car, which I cut the stacks, being a stick, and also just finished the Landy car which is an auto with the long.
  12. I always use watch crystal cement for door handles and mirrors. It will allow you a few seconds to get it positioned where you want it.
  13. Get two days of sunshine, then another weeks worth of rain, here.
  14. Glad you got it! Not too bad of a price for it.
  15. Iceman has this one. My bad, as I thought it was the one you were looking for.
  16. I built the Black Arrow not too long ago. I’d like to get a copy of that book. Pretty expensive from what I’ve seen online.
  17. I recently saw one. I can’t remember if it was Harts Parts, or one of the 3-D printers out there, but I know I saw one. I was thinking about doing away with the hose away lights on one of my GTOs as well.
  18. I hope you win it

  20. This has been the norm for weather here. So sick of rain!!!
  21. Very nice Bill. I was thinking of building this kit as a RO23, but just might build it as the GTX version, as I read they ran both cars. Paint on yours looks fantastic. Engine and chassis detail also.
  22. Bill, The Belvedere I kit has the same interior as the California Flash kit. Except the engine is a wedge, instead of a hemi. Also the exhaust parts are different. Depending on what kind of transmission you plan on using, whether a stick or auto, the Moebius engine halves are all the same. So you can use either the auto or stick, and just add hemi heads and intake, valve covers, etc, if you have them in your parts bin. If you need any particular engine halves or heads, lmk and I’ll see what I have in each trans version. Using the Moebius parts on the Moebius block would be easier than fitting other parts, imho. Here are a few pics of the only Belvedere I non hemi car I built to show the parts. You can see the interior if you zoom in the first pic.
  23. Looks fantastic, Bill. Interior, engine, decals, all look great.
  24. This build is beyond cool! Can’t wait to see more.
  25. If I remember correctly, the Golden Commandos, (not AWB) and the California Flash kits, had a low production run. Might be why people are asking ridiculous prices for them on the bay? Come to think of it, many kits are overpriced on there.
