The Story As Will heads from the dealership to his girlfriend's house to show her his new car, he stops by his LHS and picks up a MPC '70 Charger kit. The Build I got this bad boy up on four wheels and the chassis has been completed. The intierior has been completed, This will probaly be the last "major" update on this build before it's completed but there may be a few "minor" updates so Enjoy! Enjoy!

Hello! I just sent off my money order for one of Kris's pre-wired dizzy's and some other items. This will be my first time dealing with resin. Is there anything I need to know when I receive these items? How to prep? What kind of glue to use?

The start of a fleet
Mr. Moparman replied to phoneguy's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
That fleet looks good! Might just buy me a couple of Revell Pete 359's and start my own fleet. -

Today I went to my new hobby shop witch carries Tamiya paints. I needed a jar of gloss black and decided to try Tamiya out. This will be my first time using Tamiya paints. Is there anything I need to know? What to thin it with? Thanks! Brandon

Rest your hand on somthing. If you are painting side trim use Model Master Silver Chrome Trim paint in the little jar.

The Story Will finishes the last bit of paperwork and hands it to the sales rep. While the salesrep goes to get the keys Will walks over to the Parts Dept. and askes the guy at the counter if he can get a can of Street HEMI orange for his latest Mopar model. The Build I finished the 440 Six-Pack this morning, The inner fenders and firewall have been assembled and painted, The body has been painted, detailed, decals applied, and clearcoat added, Enjoy!

I went to my LHS and they have a little parts center where people can bring their unused parts and stuff and I dug around and found a 426 HEMI from the Revell '68 Charger and a stock air cleaner & exhaust manifolds from the Revell '67 Charger kit. I will be using these parts for a Mopar sometime later.

Welcome to the board! You will find there are a lot of great people here that will help you. Yes, most everything here is styrene plastic or Resin. Paints. I have never used Tamyia paint but I plan on in the future. The "new" Testors paints are the Testors One Coat Lacquer System which was just put on the shelfs a couple of months ago.

The Story When Will arrives at the dealership He tells the sales rep what car he want's and they start filling out paperwork. The Build I have got the most part of the body painted. It still needs a few touchup's here and there, I have sanded and detailed the Goodyear tires, Enjoy!

I need some help from somebody in the resin part of the hobby. I have some hood designs and some other stuff I am thinking of and I want to mold and cast it myself. I need to know what I can get like a starter kit at Hobby Lobby or Michal's for around $20 to $30 dollars and what works best to make a mold . Any help? Just drop me a PM or a E-Mail if so. Thx!
