  1. Very clean build with a classic color scheme!
  2. Neat concept with the color scheme!
  3. Cool Kustom '61 Impala! The colors and wheel covers....the look just works!
  4. Very cool build! Really like the paint job!
  5. I found a customizable bicycle license plate that is made up like the current Wisconsin license plates. I make the number, photo it, store to the computer, resize, and print! I did this for a few builds already!
  6. I drive a 2000 Cavalier I bought when it was a year old with 9,000 miles. It now has 131,000 miles. Here's a pic from a few years back after a wash on a mild, sunny winter day!
  7. Very realistic weathering!
  8. Very impressive collection of Dodge trucks! Nice progress too!
  9. I have a couple of these trucks that need to be built! Looking pretty slick!
  10. I'm guilty of all of the above and in time I wonder why I wanted the kit when I bought it.
  11. I like Corvette models including this one!
  12. I'm not into pavement scraping but I like your scratchbuilding and detail!
  13. I have one of these, brush painted with Testors square bottle enamel in need of rebuilding. I need decals for mine too! Looks like blue is about the only way to go with this one! I like what you did with yours!
  14. The majority of my builds from about the last 5 years are rattlecan painted. http://public.fotki....rd-5-window-st/ http://public.fotki....y-pickup-stock/ http://public.fotki....-utility-vette/ http://public.fotki..../mpc-vette-van/ http://public.fotki....do-sport-truck/ http://public.fotki....ado-plow-truck/ http://public.fotki....kenseth-2005-t/ http://public.fotki....lassic-kustom-/ http://public.fotki....kustom-chopper/ http://public.fotki....ala-ss-amt-kit/ http://public.fotki....69-charger-500/ http://public.fotki....an-racer-wedge/ http://public.fotki....evyorangewedge/ Other models are airbrushed with Testors basic airbrush and enamels which proved frustrating more often than not. Some of my old Survivors are brush painted when I was a kid.
  15. Yes it does. The point is it was missing when I put it together Wednesday evening. Found it last night and the rest is history!
  16. The gas prices going up is making me buy less and make fewer plans to go to shows. In fact I'm thinking of selling some kits since I have more than I'll build. I only get so much done and you never know what'll happen with production and aftermarket parts suppliers. You have to get the stuff when you can.
  17. Here's mine with mostly supplies and small parts from my Silverado Plow Truck and '72 Heavy Chevy builds. The plow truck was finished but ended up getting dropped and badly damaged. The bodywork and paint quit fighting me and it's well on its way to finished. My vantage point from the chair. Angle shot of it with the overflow shelf at about shoulder height to my right as I sit at it. My photo box doubling as an overflow for painted bodies. The truck topper just got another coat of Future. Just waiting for the Future to set up better before handling. The Heavy Chevy body and hood are ready for final sanding before paint. ] The photo box from my vantage point as I sit at the table.
  18. Enjoying this thread! GREAT info here! I have most of the kits mentioned here in some way, shape, or form.
