  2. niko, you have one busy garage. lols keep on going and have fun. cause as long as your having fun, your doing it right. and yes, sprue is the parts tree..
  3. thanks guys. an update, not a huge one but hey, it's an update for the viewers. this one should be done real soon so i can get back on the 510. here i shot the intercooler using alclad II in aerosol. i used semi gloss black cause i didnt want the full chrome effect. here are my brakes waiting for paint on calipers and a bit of wash, the tail lights in progress and the seats waiting for microballoon flock oh and, that yellow 280 in the back, it might be my next project after i finish the 510.
  4. sweet. i have been on forums for close to 3 years. seems as if i missed a lot before getting to see model cars on the internet. i plan to build a couple of zoku rides myself. but who knows then that will be.
  5. i heard they were only relabeling them. but there was no set date of when they would be back on shelfs. i was told mid may, by a LHS but they have yet to see them. ehh, time for patience to kick in.
  6. uuuhhh ooohhh. looks like someone caught the j-virus!! those cars are crazy! definitly on the creative van-go-dutchish side..lols keep on building bro. i wish to only have half of your half on building energy. if that makes any sense.

    "Lime 'em up"

nice pontiac. looks ready to rumble. i like the color.
  8. this rivi is looking just plain bad-Ashut yo mouth! you have some fantasic skills at weathering and scratch building. keep up the great work looking forward to seeing this one done.
  9. just read that its up to 117 which broke a record from the 50's. they say its not going to get better. there are more storms brewing and will eventually hit the eas coast. when it comes to mother nature, you can never be properly ready. she will hit you with all she has and you will never know what it is. being ready is just the first step to surviving. i think anyone living in those areas should move while they have a chance. i know it's home, but when it fights you, you know its time to go.
  10. hey, i have some decal paper i have yet to try out. programs are holding me back.. im not computer literate. i have microsoft office word, is that the same as the ones mentioned above? thanks
  11. you have my attention. looking forward to some more progress. are those the metal wats?
  12. it's tough to hear about people dying. it's sad to see all this happening. mother nature is the worst and most unpredictable reaper. prayers from cali.
  13. im 30 years old. im the one of the youngsters here. obviously im no child of the past, but i gotta agree. american cars from the 50's 60's and some from the 70's were great looking cars, but i too like my foreign cars. mainly toyota and nissan/datsuns from the late 60 to mid 80's. yesterday there was a nicely built 67 camaro, absolute beauty comparted to the crowd of 2000 chryslers and chevy impalas. just stands from the crowd. i would love to one day own a 66 chevy nova. but until that day comes, im gonna be happy with my 80's toyota econo boxes.
  14. a poll thread is mearly a thread asking for others opinions in form of selection. A,B,C or D. it's your option to choose an opinion that the OP has put up. i usually dont go on poll threads only cause i tend to just leave an opinion and forget to choose a box.
  15. pretty cool tribute. came out great, the hand scripting looks like it would have been on a 1:1.
  16. that is crazy looking, anymore pics?
  17. hey bud, they actually do make alclad in aerosol. it's chrome. i have a can, but have not used it yet. i was planning on doing so today, but it seems i have ran out of gloss black..
  18. thanks guys. i did give her a price. guess she didn't to spend 150 bucks. it was going to involve some scratch building, BFMing, custom color to try and match it and some alclad.
  19. i sent some out to MA's/alan. gonna take some time, but ill have extra sets. low, if you decide to make these tires. i would but a several sets of the front narrow tires. dragg, yup, they can get expensive. but like everthing else, you gotta pay to play..
