  1. theres 2 ways to go about it on this one. 1 is to put a spacer under the spindle part to raise it. or 2 you can shave down the part where the brake rotor mounts and move the brake up on the spidle and crazy glue it in place.
  2. that is very nice. i like it a lot.
  3. nice ae92. they do look like TE37s. aoshima and fujimi make te37. i know that fujimi has them in a 15" i know, cause that's what comes in their ae86 sift/yukes kits. it should have came with 14" concaves, but aoshima makes those. well, these are discontinued from them, so some digging around will have to be done to aquire them.
  4. that engine looks killer. man, i gotta get me some alclads. keep up the great work. i heard and only heard. that toyota/lexus wouldnt let tamiya replicate the LFA unless it had such details. engine, drivetrain and suspension along with the PE goodies make this kit worth the money. i plan to buy 2 of them, well i should say my wife does..
  5. that is a crazy chop, i sure hope the driver is not tall... im liking the look on this one. keep up the great work
  6. ill be watching this one.
  7. this is cool. post a pic of your 1:1 when you get a chance. i just recently got this kit. it's the second one that i have/had in my possesion. after regreting giving my first one to a friend, it took 10 years to get another one at a decent price.
  8. i agree with all these guys on the plastic boxes and zip lock baggies. the best idea ever! i also use craft storage boxes for wheels, or parts that are all the same. once i start a project, i use a plastic container and fill it with all the parts im going to use, then the "extras" or parts not being used go in a baggy for the trade/sell container. as for getting smarter, better or even dumber...dunno, cant come up with anything..
  9. i think it looks pretty good. i think that you should finish it, that or send it to me
  10. wow, that cage looks awesome. you make it look so easy.
  11. this is too cool. will be waiting patiently for more updates. reality tends to slow things down, i feel you randy..
  12. ooh, those look nice. im sending some stuff out to Alan, cant wait to get them back.
  13. wow, what a beauty and for a mear 163 bucks(not released yet), it can be yours.
  14. oh man, that is looking beasty! love it bro. keep up the great work
  15. haha, this is awesome. great looking gokart props on the scratch building. i have been thinking of making one using a pull back toy that my son has as a reference.
  16. that is a sweet wagon. nicely detailed and the paint goes with the flow.
  17. it's just the way it is in the auto industry. it's a trend. it's like honda civics. they have gone from wild body kits, "raced out" look, back to OEM/JDM, to now the euro/cambered out deep offset wheels, slammed and rusted look. it's all a trend/fad. some follow and look the same, others stick to their roots.
  18. ooof, that is sweet. this has been a fantastic build to follow. love all the details you have put into this, from the thermador to the leopard print under the hood. proper lowrider.
  19. that looks really good. i like the color. shoot, im looking for just the cab to do a 79 single cab, step side short bed..lols for a friend.
  20. your doing a great job. im digging it as well.
  21. oh man, that is comedy. or the guy that want rotting old decals for 20 bucks plus 5 bucks for shipping?? i also often feel as if the seller also has a second account on ebay or has a buddy thats on there to bid on their items when they are trying to get more than it's really worth. perfect example, i bid on an item, theres 2 days left. some one puts a bid in, ok. so i raise my bid by 5 bucks first, still not enough, so i kick it up another 10 bucks, still not enough, so for kicks i bump it 25 bucks more, enough? nope! now it's worth more than the buy it now" item further down..eh oh well guess he wants more than it's really worth. it's a freaking snap kit and theres several still around.
  22. nice willys. dig the stance
  23. bro, deffinitly talk to her. you need to come to an agreement somewhere. it's only a hobby and the money spent on it should be money that is not attachted to any house hold items. there has to be a middle ground. IE, if there is 100 bucks a month of "free money" on your behalf, then that could be your budget. with my wife, it's like most on here. theres a roof over their head, food in the fridge, bills paid and cars maintained, well then theres not problem with buying something. or trade kits, sell kits to buy more. i sell 1:1 car parts that i have lying around to buy most of my stuff. i also have traded kits for kits. shoot, im currently trading the clear parts from a skyline r32 for a e55 amg kit that has been partially built, but it's complete. what am i gonna do with it?? dunno maybe trade it or keep it..it's in the air. dont go behind her back to get stuff you want. reason with her, it's easier. she'll feel as if your cheating her by doing so.
  24. looks good bud. i want to build so many cars it aint funny. ill be watching this as it progress'
  25. hey greg, where would i send payment for a xxl t-shirt??
