  1. all i can say is WOW!! beautiful build, very nice detail, that exhaust is amazing
  2. thats chevelle looks great, im wondring what those wheels would look like with a chev rally sumbrero type centercap? ive got nova commin out my.... I bout 3 of the model king re-issues of the boss nova 2 re-issues of the model king rat packer awb 2- amt resto rods 66novas 1 resin 66 wagon 2 76 novas and 2 old pro 72 novas ive got enough to last me a good 3 years, lol at the rate I build
  3. wow, very nice build! I have a 62 nova wagon myself (real one) that I will be building up this summer. check out my Nova builds in the On the work bench section. , Mike
  4. well I posted pics of my 66 sometime ago, and havent had the time to work on it, I had a couple days off and picked it up again. for the chassis, I had to cut the rear wheel tubs and move them in roughly 4mm on each side to allow clearence for the pegasus 19inch torque thrust rims. I didnt have to narrow the frame at all, juct removed some extra plastic. I also cut the trunk out and am in the process of making a realistic trunk area, I filled inthe whole for the gas tank, and used a piece of styrene to make a wall at the back of the trunk, then smoothed out the mods to the wheel wells, it will be getting flocked later on. I then worked on the stance a bit more im still gonna run the 327 (street rat corvette kit) with a six dueces set up, the rear seat that came with the kit was a lame stock set, so i modified/cut down a 1970 monte carlo lowrider kit seat, I like the looks of it better then I picked up this 76 nova and am working on the stance of it it was missing the hood from factory, so i have orderd a resin cowl , like the one on the 66, I also used pegasus t`s, but used rear tires from the wagonrod kit to achieve the pro street look lmk what your thoughts on my projects are so far, im open to new ideas and critisism, so be honest
  5. I never buy kits from him, its just that I hadnt seen this one before and figured id grab it up cause it was the only one. even if I had ordered it from the states, with exchange, and shipping I woulda payed at least 20.00 for it though.
  6. its kinda my fault, I saw the kit, and had to have it. I actually went in there just to pick up a 1.00 piece of tubing for exhaust on my 66 nova. you think 22.oo for a kit is bad, man... 1:18 diecast (walmart brand) american muscle that are 9.99- 18.99 at walmart, are 69.00-99.00 there. tamiya kits are anywhere from 40.00-84.00, its simply retarded. i bought both my rat packer model king kit, and my boss nova kits off ebay... both for 25.oo not each, for the two!! btu I had never seen this kit anywhere before. I already solved the problem, i called up my buddy at psf hobbies, and I have a resin cowl hood on the way. btw im located in prince albert, saskatchewan canada. there no hobby lobby anywhere near here, we have a hoby world an hour and a half away, but its the same thing, 20-30.00 basic kits that should be 9.99 tops. that is all for now
  7. I bought it from a local hobby store, and theyre policy is, if its opened , it cannot be returned or exchanged. I paid 22.00 for the kit (bent over in the first place) opened it and took it back 20 minutes after i bought it, ad he wont exchange it.

THANKS ALLOT AMT, ill buy resins, or other brands from now on.
  9. Hey all, I just picked up an AMT street custom 76 Nova kit, got it home and opened it up, and it is missing one whole parts tree ( I compared with a friends kit) it is missing the tree with the Hood, and front suspension parts. How do I go about contacting AMT/ertl, and will they supply me with the parts, or tell me tuff luck? I am alright with picking up a resin cowl hoof, but what to do about susp. parts? any help is greatly appretiated
  10. all i can say is check PSF hobbies. ive spent a couple 100$ on parts there inthe last 2 months and they have pretty much everything. I got m/t chevy covers in big and small block and im sure he had dodge ones of all sizes too
  11. got bored and mocked up the engine to make sure it would fit under the cowl, and it does barely! I will not be using those covers, ive got a set of resin m/ts for it. i also managed to kitbash some nitrous bottles from a supra kit, and found a belt too.
  12. hey now!!! that is wicked!!!! great job as usuall
  13. I just cant wait for my bossnova funnycar kits to get here, so I can kit bash em and build a replica of the 63 Nova wagon I bought to build this summer! I searched for a resin 63 wagon kit, but id need t buy donors and everythign , so im just gonna um-modify the race version! my father also has a fully restored 63 acadian sport deluxe convertible (canadian nova /chevyII) and a partially restored 63 dr ht) along with his and my 35 parts cars.
  14. well I was looking at my 66 and decided that I needed to hack the trunk out and make room for a few more details.so I went ahead and did that, and am relocating the batteries and scratch building a fuel cell. I also came across some hot wheels 66 novas so I cut out the hood and trunk and decided to make a matching set of 1:25/1:64. lmk what you think so far. thx, Mike MadEmaN kustums
  15. anyone know where I can get a couple msd ignition boxes and decals? im needing them pretty soon for a couple projects I have underway.
  16. dang dude, thats is wicked!! looks great
  17. id like to get my hands on a couple sets of those wheels too
  18. the six dueces is white metal, i got it on ebay from psfhobbies (hightly recoomended) i belive it cost me 3.00
  19. Im going for a slightly modified look, i think. Im leaning towards a 2 tone black/red pearl. or mabey a black/blue. Im really undecided. so far the kit looks decent, and its my first time using aftermarket components like resin/photo etch. im used to just kit bashing to build.
  20. alrighty, well ive finnaly decided to post a few pics and get goin with this one. I used to be big into plastic models a few years back ( im only 20 now) and I got a real car and stopped building. Then I saw this kit, and had to start up again. Its nothing special, just ordered a resin cowl hood. some photo etched parts (emblems, distributer, etc.) some braided lines, pegasus wheels, and a neato six dueces setup. lmk what yall think so far. I think I nailed the stance I was shooting for head on.
  21. I build custom hot wheels as well as models adn I have found Circa 1850 furniture stripper to work the best, takes everything off and doesnt dammage the metal.
