  1. No it's the AMT 27' Trailmobile Post Van, originally from the 70's era issue of this combination that was liveried for the U.S. Postal Service. Or it's one half of the Double Header Trailer set, however you wanna you look at.
  2. The tractor itself was last out in 2008, the trailers came as a set of doubles relatively recently. It appears 2002 was the last time the set (single trailer) was sold together.
  3. Not as of yet.
  4. Pinning it would make it a permanent addition to the board at the top of this section, or perhaps in the FAQ section whichever would be considered more appropriate. Ya know so we wouldn't have to keep asking it over and over again, getting the same answers, and every newbie would see it at the top of page as it would not ever move from there.
  5. It will be reissued, but it's not part of this month's kits.
  6. Riiiiiiight because no one ever got a short shot kit produced in America...ever.?
  7. This was like unwrapping a $180 onion of doom... But somehow despite someone playing soccer with it, practicing field goal kicking and then placing a grand piano on top of it for the flight over...the contents were without damage. It's been awhile since I've had that much dread followed by utter relief.
  8. FSM is published 10 months a year, rather than the 6 of SA, so your subscription would run out quicker. Also the last issue of SA was just delivered, so no FSM wouldn't be carrying automotive stuff immediately in their October issue.
  9. This thread should be locked and pinned, Dave laid it out nice and succinctly.
  10. Two newest decal sheets from LB Production.
  11. Looks like it's just subpar "depth perception" in the box art. Dayton truck wheels look similar front and back, except that the rear wheels are concave and have a little less "center mass" compared to the fronts.
  12. I have one of those as well. Still would like to get the ZoomOn version that's a HK/Japanese style flat bed. Cause I have an infinite amount of time, space and money dollars...
  13. Latvia of all places... Well of all the places they could live, the live in Latvia, soooo Definitely gets filed on the "must obtain" list.
  14. Yeah I'm pretty sure it's the version I built when I was around 9-11 years old, unpainted in all it's molded in Metallic Blue glory. It's a kit I had forgotten about altogether until recently as Revell permanently changed the tooling in 2000 into the '70 Road Runner.
  15. Top one is an eBay find, the rest from my LHS this weekend.
  16. I want the 911... Next should be a HD full kit of their take on a Liberty Walk "R35" GT-R, then Alpha with an A-M Vantage.
  17. They have to already know, one would presume since if you look closely at the built model on the box side the problem is evident all the way back then. Like you, I'm building it stock, so I don't actually care, but just tossing it out there for the group.
  18. But Revell of course can't not Revell, and I'm gonna guess that as this project was being finalized the Rona hit and when people got back to work they forgot to proof check the CAD. Sooooo we wind up with the new wheels having 3 engraved ones, and one...not so engraved one. It's like the wheel has the design inlay done, but never got the second pass of detailing that makes the other 3 wheels have crisp detail with two layers of depth on the surface. From what I've seen of a review build the weak surface engraving all but disappears under some primer and paint.
  19. I have one of those Pistas laying around, my current "Track Like a Hawk" parcel is the new Aston Martin which left China the night before last.
  20. Sure...but are any of them things you WANT to build more than this tantalizing Ram 2500? ??
  21. Not speculation, there are several people currently building kits for review for FSM as we speak. Named you'd recognize once their published.
  22. EGV is right around the corner facility-wise from the Chicago ISC that processes International Mail in both directions. Sounds like they didn't pay for an equivalent Priority level of shipping though as EGV is a ground mail facility. Gonna get trucked the rest of the way.
  23. There should be all the parts you need in there to build it stock as the new parts are shown in the one runner with the wheels, disc brakes and revised front suspension, along with the extra tires. A quick spin through 1:1 '71 GTXs that are for sale show a seemingly 50/50 split in cars that have the Air Grabber "hood door" hood the kit has had the past few reissues, and ones with the "Road Runner" style one included with the kit.
  24. Depends on the country. Spain for instance doesn't track it's own mail once it leaves the country on normal mail service. The USPS doesn't track it's own International Mail once it leaves the U.S. either unless you pay for higher levels of International Priority service.
