  1. LOL... I don't used airbrush when painting car models. I use spray cans for them. I do use my airbrush for the model planes, jets, and tanks.
  2. Yup I did. And not only showed it to him, I gave it to him as a Christmas gift. He was REALLY happy to see it.

    1970 BOSS 429

I used Tamiya's Red spray paint.
  5. I used Testor's Ultra gloss clear coat. It gives it that awesome super shine. So, no polishing is needed.
  6. All I can say is WOW!!! It came out looking very clear and sweet. Love it.
  7. Yeah, AWESOME work on that hot rod Andy. Love it!!!
  8. Here's the fourth 1970 Mustang. The last one is going to be a little more difficult to complete. I want to build the 1970 MACH 1 Twister special. I have the decals and the model, but the Twister has a shaker hood and the Revell kit comes with only the standard hood. Until I figure out how I'm going to create the shaker hood, the Twister version is on hold.
  9. Bought this kit on a swap meet half-built. And not built good at all. I had to take the old paint off and rebuild the whole kit. When rebuilding it, I decided to make it to a Harley-Davidson Special Delivery van. I painted it with Harley-Davidson colors of orange and black. I also did a custom Harley-Davidson decal.
  10. I like it. It looks like a real car. Two Thumbs up.
  11. Awesome looking Tanks. I specially like the Afrika Corp Panzer IV. A+++ in my book.
  12. I like yours as well. The Cockpit you did looks allot like the one in mine as well. Really COOL!!
  13. This was my first kit that I tried to make it as accurate to the real car that was available on 1970 as I can. Also painting the flat black hood was a challenge. But the kit came out pretty nice. Not 100% perfect but close enough for me. Besides I'm not building a model to be set in a museum here. Like David G says "Each kit I build is really only practice for the next one!" - So TRUE!! I even put spark plug wires on this one (Can't really see them, but they are there). I also did the brake lines detail.
  14. My Dad had this car when I was a kid and I had allot of fun in it. When Model King came out with this kit I had to buy it and build my Dad's old car. This is how my Dad's car looked when he had it (before the accident). I actually built two of this kit. One Before Accident (seen below) and After Accident. He changed the color to a Metallic Green with white top. I scratch built the antenna and hand painted those darn white walls. I'm also going to build the 1970 Bonneville He had.
  15. Love the look you gave it. The Panther Pink is a nice touch. I also love the engine detail. I'm still trying to perfect the exterior before I get into perfecting the engine. But once in a while I do add spark plug wires.
  16. Here's a picture of the engine. Unfortunately I can't get a picture taken for the interior (windows are very small). And I did use Testor's Ultra Clear Spray to give it that awesome shine.
  17. Yes, really cool looking Charger.
  18. Actually it's the Revell's BASIC BUILDER Kit.
  19. Looking good. I like it allot.
  20. Yup, that's the one.
  21. To paint this kit I used for the first time the NEW Testors' Lacquer spray paint. And I must say, they are AWESOME!!! I love them. They go on very smoothly. As you can see from this model.
  22. This is my first build of a 57 Chevy. I colored it to look like the one my parents used when they got married.
  23. Really nice looking Daytona. Love the color.
  24. After I finished the General Lee, and looking at some of my spare parts around, I got inspired to create the brother to the General Lee and built the 2006 Mustang GT the General Stuart "Old Jeb". I picked that General's name for two reasons: 1 - He was one of General Lee's most trusted Generals. 2 - Because General Stuart was a Cavalry Commander. What better car for General Stuart then the Mustang. Here's the Parts List: I used spare parts and left over parts from a Mustang GT. The Bumper Bars was from a snap-kit police car. The Decals come from the Charger from Revell - to build the race car version. The Roll Bar came from some spare parts that I had around. Scratched built the CB Antenna. Designed custom license plates to look like current Georgia plates with Hazard County on them. Painted it flat black as a Rum Runner's car. This kit was allot of fun to build.
  25. That model is coming out AWESOME!!! Love the ALMS picture of the Camaro. Can't wait to see how it all comes out looking at the end.
