  1. Looks like your off to a GREAT start, I too love these '32s I have several of them in my stash. The Sedan looks really wicked I love a long low ride and it looks like you nailed it, the Buick motor will work great also... Keep it up I will definately be watching this one...
  2. That actually sounds like a good plan, especially since my heads are already glued to the block... Thank you Bradley...
  3. I took another look at a different shot of the engine and Dave is correct. What may be a good source for a corrected manifold, I went through a few of my kits that have Hemi's and all have the traditional dual quad setup. Any help in this would be awesome.

    B) That's good, made me actually laugh... I am going to watch this one just to see if I should get one or not, it's not really my style of build but, I LOVE the Viper GTS...
  5. This looks interesting... This will be one to watch, Cord Front drive and supercharged, OH MY...
  6. Thank you for pointing out the front fenders, I would have totally missed that... Got too caught up in other details... The bi-level manifold is fine for this build, here's what he has in his car, looks the same...
  7. This is going to be KOOL!!! Gotta keep an eye on this one...
  8. Jerry, Let Ed know that he and his wife will be in our prayers...
  9. I'm kinda diggin' the '37 Chevy. Don't see them every day...
  10. That's what I figured... I like the idea of the ghost effect striping, it really sets the mood for the ride...
  11. This is really looking good Ian, the photo's of the 1:1 are sweet also... Would like to see pics of the 1:1 in the daylight if you have any, the Hockey sticks are barely visible and I'd just like to see how they look black on black...
  12. The Steelies and beer caps is truly the way to go... It SCREAMS MOPAR... Gonna keep an eye on this one...
  13. This will be interesting to watch...
  14. Tom, this is your greatest Merc yet... It seems that each one you do looks better then the last... I hope you bring it along to the next meeting so I can drool on it, oops did I say that??? I meant over it in person...
  15. This is a same kit build project for my model club. I was going to do the factory delivered Hurst car with the primered body and gel-coat front clip but then I ran across this beautiful B5 Blue Hurst Hemi while watching My Classic Car and decided that's the one for me... I basically chose to do this version of it to, well, be lazy. Doing this car I don't have to cut and flip the quarter panels to have the wheel openings the correct way. So I took my already opened kit and put the sealed one up and commenced to cutting this evening, just finished cleaning it up a little bit ago... Here's the link to all the reference material I am using for this build... (I did not find this link on my own, I found else where in these forums, thank you who ever you are that posted it). http://www.musclecarrestorations.com/gallery/v/Chrysler/Completed/Dodge-Dart-68-000/ Today I got to sit and do a bit of work on this one. I raped one of my Little Red Wagon kits for it's seats and with a little evergreen filled in the open side on each, just need to sand it down a bit so the seats sit level now. Also today was the scariest thing I have ever done to a kit, I separated the engine blocks from the transmissions, the car I am doing has a 727 TF in it and the kit Hemi has the 4 Speed molded to it. Well so far everything has come out alright, now it's time to see if they go together... Thank You Len Carsner and Bill Coulter for the info on how to accomplish this task, it was very helpful... Got the transmissions all changed over and it went smoother that I had anticipated, also started filling the seams on the seatback and my little filler panel...
  16. Outstanding work, this is my favorite year El Camino and you have really done it justice...
  17. This is looking really good so far, I will definately be watching this one, I just started one of these the other day...
  18. That really looks like a KOOL project, those wheels are really awesome and go really well with the Matador. Can't wait to see more...
  19. I agree, I have the Maisto 18th scale still sitting and would love to find the markings to recreate this beauty... Nice work...
  20. Exactly what I was going to suggest... Looks as though you've picked a really KOOL subject to model... I always liked the '39 to '41 Buicks especially the '41 business coupe, a friend of mine has a '38 four door sedan a '39 2 door sedan and a '41 coupe they are all very nice cars and man are they HUGE...
  21. That really looks great Billy... Great job on the paint and the detail is awesome...
  22. That's really KOOL Walt, also REALLY COLD...
  23. This is really a good looking build... Gives me lots of hope and inspiration, I just finished cutting the wheel arches on mine this evening...
  24. Here's a little bit of progress. I test fitted the chassis and body to see how well it will sit, looks like the front is too high but, that may come down when it comes time for final assembly. The wheels are out of the Revell '67 Corvette 2 in 1 kit and are VERY close to what was on the actual car. The LS1 427ci. is a dream to build, all the parts are really crisp and clean. The fuel pump, oil filter and starter are all separate pieces and really add some super detail to this motor. Here's where I am at so far...
