  1. I've ordered several small items from RR, hoods, wheels and such and have never had a problem. Delivery was rather prompt, pricing was fair and parts were top notch...
  2. You can try here, Ed has some really great stuff, I have some of his MOPAR steelies and they are great... Drag City Castings
  3. Offer her a manicure/pedicure... LOL I am sure she would love the pampering and it would probably allow you to get what you want/need...
  4. John, this is a truly remarkable build. Once again you have broken that very fine line that runs between real and model, if I didn't know this was a hand built model I would swear that it was real. GREAT JOB!!!
  5. SWEET!!! The color is AWESOME and the body work really is spot on... Great job...
  6. I'm with you all there and I also really dislike the sprue attachment point for injector stacks, instead of attaching them at the top how about on the bottom where they can be hidden...

    !970 Camaro

That's a great looking Camaro, if you contact this gentleman I think he may be able to make the decals you want in the orange... Kieth Marks Decals
  8. Here's the link to the site Donald had mentioned... Great place LOTS of stuff... Newts Boneyard
  9. That's coming along really well... The chassis is beautiful and the soldering looks flawless... Keep it up, can't wait for more...
  10. Going to be interesting to see what repercussions he has coming from NASCAR...
  11. John, your skills simply amaze me... This is an AWESOME build so far, the transformation of this car to what it is now is nothing less than GREAT!!!
  12. I saw these rims posted last night and they are just remarkable... I can't wait to see the next progress pics... This thing is too KOOL!!!
  13. Thanks Highway, this is the only light commercial I have at the moment... I am still collecting a little of this and a little of that for a project I have in mind for a Bison kit that I am turning into a dump truck...
  14. Here's a pic of my 1:1 work truck and the replica I did. The replica isn't 100% correct but, it gets the idea across.
  15. Gregg, I think you really made for a great looking ride, the idea of the crate engine is a fine idea although the one you already have settled in looks really good also... I just picked one of these up at my LHS and am starting to develop some plans for it, not too sure if I want to do a mild street ride or go with an A/FX styled track car. OH well, enough of mine, can't wait to see what progress you may have in store for us.
  16. I know, for me and my OCD, the anticipation of the Hudson is killing me but, I am glad that they gave us plenty of warning about the kit so I am able to save my pennies and get a whole case lot rather than just buying one or 2 at a time as I can afford it...
  17. When I originally saw this thread when you first started it I thought, "a Low Rider '41 P/U"??? Well Darren I must say, this is really looking AWESOME and is right up my alley with all the skulls and bones... Great work and the detail is beautiful...
  18. That really turned out to be one SWEET conversion...
  19. What Cranky said... Just be careful, this hobby can be addicting, I got back into it around 2004 with the intentions of just building a few kits my younger brother had bought. Well I built those and had some spare paint and various other tools, well, needless to say, a couple of hundred kits later I am still building and adding to my retirement collection...

    Police Car ??

Don, this looks pretty good and would make a nice PUCO car with both beacons being red. Like someone had suggested, the window trim would really set this car off and make it perfect...
  21. I've never done one myself but, a couple of my club members have used Gibson engines in thier Pro Mod cars and they look really great...
  22. Here's the one I have finished...
  23. The Deora or the Lindberg '64 Belvedere lend themselves to a really nice leaning tower of power. The '51 and '53 Chevies have some really nice stovebolt 6's. Finally Ken Kitchen has some really beautiful Ford 6's from early iron to the last 4.9 liter fuel injected engine...
  24. That's so wrong on so many levels... I LOVE IT!!!
