  1. Now that's what I call one proud looking work truck... This thing looks as though it can roll up on any site and feel welcomed... Great work Doc. the weathering is just right as is the overall look...
  2. I really love this car in 1:1 and I think you have really done it some justice... Great work on a timeless classic...
  3. That really turned out SWEET!!! The pain and engine detail is beautiful...
  4. Welcome to the site and the hobby... Looks as though your off to a great start there, be really careful though this hobby can be rather addicting. I started back into it in 2004 since then I have amassed 400+ unbuilt kits, quite a few promos, some die-cast and allot of aftermarket stuff. Not to mention the paint, files, sand papers and various other paraphernalia I use to help make my builds look better... It's all in fun though...
  5. WOW!!! That really looks KOOL!!! Not only will it look great but, with that Ferrari power plant in it she will really get down the road nicely too...
  6. I prefer to use sable brushes because they are allot softer, they are more expensive but, the results are worth it... I think the last brush I bought was a 00000 and it cost me around 7 or 8 bucks US...
  7. Now this would be sweet... We've needed a '41 Chevy forever...
  8. My brother bought an inside AC unit, it's completely standalone and it cooled off his living room and kitchen on the hottest days here. We saw some 93+ temps. and it did wonders... Here's a link to the one he has... It's the first portable listed for $299.00 http://www6.homedepo...tioner_selector
  9. That looks really KOOL!!! I really like this body style of Supra almost as much as the '91... Can't wait to see what's going to be powering this one...
  10. This will definitely be something worth watching... My father had an '84 Cavalier and I had a brand spanking new one in '87, I loved those cars they were fun to drive and economical. This build is definitely something you don't see every day, can't wait for more...
  11. HOLY COW!! That is one great looking work truck, only thing missing is it being on my shelf... Great job Doc...
  12. Holy Cow!!! That looks loike it was a rather intense storm, thank God ya' all are alright...
  13. Great tip Doc, thanks... One problem though, in the beginning of your video you mention wearing saftey glasses... Where are yours... This is alot easier than the way I normally wear a tire and a heck of alot faster...
  14. I've heard that gloss black or a dark gloss blue then shoot the Alclad. Reason for the blue instead of the black is for a more convincing chrome finish.
  15. Any versions of the Ford Power Stroke V8 Diesel. I would like to have one for a future project. Also does anyone make the Cummins Turbo Diesel like in the Dodge P/U trucks... TIA Rob
  16. Doc, that's too KOOL!!! I saw a '52 Ford for sale up here last year but, at the time was short on cash. If I would have been able to afford it I was going to put a ladder rack on it and the drive train out of my 2nd '94 F150. It would have been a 6 cyl with a 5 speed... Gotta keep my eyes on this one too...
  17. This looks like a fun build Doc, can't wait to see what you come up with color wise. Whatever it is I know it's going to be sharp...
  18. I personally would like to see your build up of the Falcon also... I hope you can share this little trick with the putty, I am curious to see how you may do this...
  19. Steve, this is moving along greatly... I have to get to the next meeting and see this thing in person... I like the simple tip you gave to us about the tranny mounting tab, thank you...
  20. The '53 Stude Starliner has a nice set of Flippers in it also, or possibly a 3 or 4 bar cap.
  21. Sure is looking rather purdy... You've done wonders with this bastard of a kit...
  22. Very nice looking, the color is really KOOL!!! Great lookiing interior too... The only bad part about this kit, not anything you did but, what Revell did, is that it is a '69 body and not a '68. I have this kit and also a Revell '68 with the side marker lights that were removed... I am just going to swap the bodies to make the correct year for the Dick Landy car...
  23. WOW!!! This really looks great... Nice work on the interior and just an over all nice looking car...
