  1. I'm going to be watching this V Dub come together, I have the same kit and am very interested as to how well it builds... Love the excellent paint work on them both but, that Dub is AMAZING!!!
  2. Don't know about proper but, it sure would be KOOL!!!
  3. I used my mat and a T square, just rested one side on the long edge of the square and the flattest end of the frame on the the short side then proceeded to start assemble checking squareness along the way with a smaller square. Not the simplest of ways but, it worked out really well for me... It also helps that I have a 1 1/2 inch piece of granite on my work surface to help keep things level also...
  4. That really looks slick brutha... Love the fenders and fifth wheel cover, great work man...
  5. I'm up for at least one more, I have the AFC Chevy and the Chevy trailer combo but, one or 2 more never hurts...
  6. This is really starting to out sharp... The color choices and mods are totally AWESOME!!!
  7. Nice job Jim... That color really looks great on there...
  8. Steve you made mention to this last Tues. Since I am a bit younger and these promos were before my time and are now way out of my price range I would be happy to see any and all that may surface. I have always admired the '59 Rambler you did, not only because of the quality of the build but, also because it's a longroof and there just isn't enough of them offered...
  9. Great pics Pat... Like the group shots you have, sorry you had to associate with those NCAM guys though... Just kidding, thanks again for the great photos...
  10. That first one would be rather interesting and quite the challenge trying to weave those headers like that...
  11. Well Doc, I am sure your talking about engines we have built but, this 1:1 is my favorite and the car itself is really sweet too... http://bringatrailer...dge-seneca-413/
  12. I agree with Luis, I know guys in my club that have built kits that I have seen on Evil Bay going in excess of 2 and 3 hundred dollars... My thoughts are rather simple, if it's in a box or a bag I will build it eventually no matter cost or collect ability. I am not a collector, I am a builder. Sadly collectors have taken some really great kits and set them on a shelf just to sit in a box, I want to have the fun of building it and if I mess one up, oh well, just fix it and go on to the next one...
  13. Looks as though she's sittin' pretty... Hopefully you stick with that color, it really seems to work well like that...
  14. 1965 Buick Wildcat Hardtop Benny Parsons #72 Kings Row Monte Carlo NASCAR
  15. Nice job on the cage, fits really well and looks great under the glass...
  16. That's one fine looking engine, hope you get some time to build the rest of the car... With details like that on just the engine, the rest is going to be KILLER...
  17. Been seeing the adds for this one, think I'm going to DVR it and watch it another day when I don't have to stay up til 1 or 2 in the morning... Never seen the Bathurst race but have heard allot about it, looking forward to hearing DW try to keep up with this one...
  18. I'd be very interested to hear how well it does... If it's as good as or better than Tamiya's regular primers I may have to get some...
  19. In just kit alone I know I have somewhere around $4500.00 invested. If I sat down and figured out every little detail ie: resin parts and bodies, photoetch, displays and such I would probably end up on the floor grasping my chest...
  20. What I learned from Steve Jobs is rather simple, perseverance. Live life and enjoy every moment, our outcome is inevitable... R.I.P. Steve Jobs
  21. This is really AWESOME!!! Great work...
  22. Very well done... The details are very well done as is the truck itself... Like Harry said, the TP on the mirror is a really nice touch...
  23. A+++ Steve, this is a beautiful build, great bodywork my friend...
  24. Now that's one KOOL looking van!!! Great work converting it, very clean work...
  25. Really interesting concept you got going there... Really looks good, love the idea of the Ol' Skool motor in a New Skool ride...
