All the matte silver and the look of the headlights has me saying it's a model...

Ken it's not the differing opinions I am arguing. It just baffles me as to how long this discussion has been going on and everything being said is being repeated for the second and third time... How this has gone on this long I don't know, Gregg must have some serious patience seeing as this is really his build thread and review. Does the kit have some issues: YES Is it over priced: YES Will I buy one or 2: YES PERIOD.

I've seen alot of cab forward designs but, this is wild... Really pushes the limit on cab forward... -
Built this one quite some time ago. It's built from the Beverly Hillbillies kit and a Deora Slant 6. Just wanted to do something a little bit different then what people were doing...

There sure are a ton of great looking Deuces' here, hard to pick out my favorite one they are all my favorite... The '32 has to be hands down my favorite model car to work with because, it's so versatile and easy to personalize... Heres the only 2 complete '32's I have but, my stash contains quite a few more including a 1/8 monster that I will definately need to figure out where to display it even before I crack the plastic on the box... 1/87 Jordan 5 window kit. Revells 3 Window with a MCG hood and PE pieces...

Again, looks like a great start!!! living in OH. the grain haulers I have seen here are all the really pretty ones all shiny and polished up, have seen a few in bright white also... Don't give up on it either, I would really like to see how this turns out... -
Looks like a good start and plans for this beautiful Poncho... I'd say the motor would look great body color with plenty of chrome or gold accents...

Looks like your off to a good start... What are you using??? Looks like aluminum soldered... -
Being raised in a family of GM owners I have a tendency towards GM products... Through my teens I learned to appreciate MOPAR and am a major fan of MOPAR but, the one thing that sticks out in my mind about my youth, maybe 8 or 9 at the time, is a neighbors Falcon Sprint. From the first time I saw that car I wanted one, mind you I am not a Ford fan by any right, just a Falcon fan. The cars are amazingly plain looking and simple but, can pack a real punch if equipped correctly... Will I ever own a 1:1 Falcon? I doubt it but I will definately be adding the Trumpeter Sprint to my collection... The naysayers in the crowd can say what they will but, whens the last time AMT or any of the other major companies even considered releasing a Falcon, with the exception of the '61 Ranchero, that in my opinion was a waste of plastic...

I'm really glad to see this one built, it looks stunning... This is by far one of my favorite Porsches ever made and I was glad to see Tamaia re-issue it, now I'm on my way to the LHS to pick up the one I was looking at the other day... LOL

Been curious about this one... Will definately keep an eye on it... Looks like a fairly good kit, I know there are some accuracy issues but, that's not going to stop me from getting one or 3 of them...

Thanks Johnny, I completely forgot about the release of the '76 Laguna until another friend pointed it out to me... I am going to pick one up and start planning my build then, the '73-4 Saturday Night car will make a really nice Bobby Allison car so I am going to hang on to that one too since I only have one of them... LOL

I have the Model King re-issue of the '73-5 Chevelle it has the front end to do the '73-4 Laguna. I am looking for the resin trans kit for the '75 Laguna so I can replicate the '75 Benny Parsons Kings Row car. I used to have the link for the site but, that was a couple of years ago and a couple of computer crashes ago. Needless to say I lost all my links for the NASCAR stuff I had bookmarked. This is the car I am trying to replicate... Thank you for any and all help... Rob

Looks like a great start, and some great plans for upgrading it... That rear spring pack looks identical to one a friend of mine has sitting besides his garage that he pulled out of his old F450 Super Duty. He had it in one of his F 150 4x4's that he used for plowing until the truck finally rusted out around the engine and drivetrain...

I'm not too much into tuner cars but, I am into Bugs... This really looks KOOL... I will have to get some pictures this summer of a 1:1 Bug tuner car that this closely resembles... Great work...

I think that's quite a beautiful build of what I called the "Baby Benz"... For a basic kit you worked wonders with it...

Looks like an interesting subject, should turn out really KOOL!!!

That really does look SWEET!!! I hope you do decide to have that hood cast, I would be interested in a few...

I have told the wife that's my plans exactly. Only problem is I still have quite a ways to retirement, if and only if my body holds out long enough to make it there... I currently have a little over 400 kits and have plans for all of them or at least most. Am I a hoarder? Probably but, I am also planning for my future when I cannot work any more or am able to retire...

Looking good Derrick... The firewall and coil-over mounts look great...

All three are AWESOME!!! The Davey car is perfect, I think he would have been much bigger than his father and uncle. All three definately taken from this world too soon...
