  1. Sourkraut shows it in stock. I think it's cool that it comes with stripe decals.
  2. I'm liking the Italeri tires. They look nice.
  3. I hope everything's ok. He makes some nice parts. I have the 1958-'69 Pete 352 cab he makes and it's a very nice clean casting.
  4. The BBC measurement is 63". Not sure about just that section, though.
  5. You will notice that Kenworth named each stripe pattern. The following are available from Jerry at www.modeltruckin.com Meteor Cowboy Nevada There are a couple of others I couldn't match to the book I just posted, but he has some others that are older patterns, like the very popular Salem(think BJ and the Bear). Cascade was available from JBOT.
  6. The remaining pages which show color samples.
  7. The rest of the book contains paintchips and other items. Here they are.
  8. Earlier in this thread I posted a link to a K100 paintbook from 1978. The link in that post is no longer valid, so here are the pix. Here are the first pages, color schemes to follow.
  9. For you International fans, here are a few for the 4070A.
  10. It's been a long time since I added to this thread, but I'm glad it has helped. I love the Ford Louisville pix that were added since my last visit.
  11. Next up on the bench is a truck that I started rebuilding 4 years ago. I found the remains of a K123 that I built in 1991, and with the K123 kit being re-released, an idea hit me. I needed a complete kit for a conversion cab I purchased so I could use it's frame. Taking the fresh cab from the kit, I used the broken frame and other remaining parts to create what you see here. Mods include shortening the frame to a 130" wheelbase, rear suspension from a White Freightliner SD kit, 2 hole wheels from AITM, shortening the kit fuel tanks, going with a single stack, downgrading the engine to a Cummins NH 250, plus a few other little things. The trailer is pretty much done, but I have to redo a couple of decals. They looked fine on the sheet, but were really brittle. I think the hard part is done, but let's see how things go. Thanks for looking.
  12. Thanks. I thought the rail was wider, but it I managed to make it fit.
  13. It's finally done. All that is left is to add the trailer air lines (which will be added when the trailer is completed) and the tie rod. It's the first one I've finished in a couple of years. For those that didn't see the in progress thread, this is a rebuild of a truck I finished back in '08. It didn't survive a long distance move and had to be redone. The mods I made are working steering, conversion to a daycab, cab lift cylinders. shortened fuel tanks, shortened bumper, chassis air lines, light weathering and other minor things. Thanks for looking.
  14. I love it. Great choice in colors on the stake bed truck.
  15. Thanks Goodwrench. I did hand paint all of it.It took a little time, and a handful of toothpicks.
  16. gatormarc, using the suspension for both trailers I think you could set up a spreadaxle suspension if you wanted to try this trailer stretch out for yourself.
