http://cgi.ebay.com/REVELL-1-24-KENWORTH-D...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/Revell-1-25-Peterbilt-...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/REVELL-1-24-TRUCK-RACI...1QQcmdZViewItem I especially want the racing truck combo. Mainly for the T600. I don't build racers, but the Pete would be made into a regular road truck. If Anyone ever sees the Revell AG Kenworth T600's(there are 2 different kits aside from this one, let me know. I would love to bid, but my truck needs tires right now, so it will have to wait. DarnIT!!!!!!! Hate to spend that much, but I would for this kit, you get 2 trucks, and the trailer could be converted. I know of a lowboy conversion that would involve this trailer. The Bill Signs Truck was a hefty price too. Anyway, happy bidding. lol

My old truck!
SpreadAxle replied to rottin1's topic in 1:1 Reference Photos: Auto Shows, Personal vehicles (Cars and Trucks)
I like the pete. And I agree with you about the regulations. -
Here is my present truck. 2002 KW t600B with a 400HP(not enough for the 45 to 48000 I usually haul in mountainous areas)Cummins ISX, 13 spd, 3.55 rears, and the 72" sleeper. Plans include an enclosed headache rack, dual exhaust, the rest of the guages, an a REAL/PROPER genuine Cummins overhaul and horsepower increase, and customization of the sleeper. For now, I call the truck Mis-behavin'. I like it, but in 5 months, it's cost me a lot. I'm so glad my girlfriend is patient, she's put up with the bad moods this truck creates. Kw's are my favorite, but this one hasn't lived up to the T600s I drove years ago. I wanted a w9( My favorite truck), but finding one with a cummins is HARD!!! And this one weighs less. When you do find one, it goes quicker than a factory sealed KW challenge Mixer on eBay with a BUYITNOW of $5( There's an imaginary critter, huh? lol). If you want pix of the ISX in detail, let me know. Also, the 2006 Utility I'm leasing will be detail photographed for reference. Not enough modern day trailers in kit form in my opinion. It shouldn't be 2 hard of a scratchbuild, but still taking measurements for right now. I want the photos to be helpful. Also, will take closeups of the hood and sideskirts, as the AMT t600 kit represents a pre 1995 hood. I believe that's the year that KW put the turn signals in at the rear of the front fenders. measurements will be enclosed. Thanks for looking

This was my first truck. I had my mother's name on the hood. If you recognize this shade of blue, it's an old Marten transport truck. The purple fenders came after I replaced the hood. It's a Jones performance fiberglass factory replacement. Thought you might like some reference photos. I found the sleeper to be a bit cramped, otherwise, I love this truck, and would do anything to have my old girl back. This will go down in history as the truck I should've kept. The N14 in this truck could eat my ISX for lunch(as it stands now), but I will turn this truck up. Not a speed demon, but I know a Cummins could climb a hill. Her replacement, a T600(Melton Truck Lines tractor) which is roomier and rieds nice, has been a lemon, but I will bring this truck to the same glory. I'll post pix of it as I "Trick My Truck". Minus the hood, I did all the custom work myself, including the guages that I added. I was going to add a larger sleeper and stretch the frame. If you see my old girl as I always called her, tell her to come home(LOL!!!!) Anyway, I have lots of pix of this truck, so if you need 379 reference shots, let me know. I am still proud of that truck. I wish now I just overhauled it.A model is going to be built, in the image of what I wanted her to look like when all my plans would come to fruition. I just need to know how to make an Ultracab roof, although i think Monkey Claw has one. You will see the sleeper, and paint colors I had in mind. Boys and their toys, huh? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for looking.

A project I'm researching will be somewhat challenging, but the only pic I can reference is really small. It's actually an ad in Wheels of Time(ATHS) and was the inspiration for this idea. It was a black and white pic that I've tried enlarging, but it gets blurry when I do that. It's a 1976 Freightliner cabover with the sleeper above the cab, and a drom box. It was in like the Nov/Dec 1995 Wheels of time and was for sale with a moving van. It was an Allied Van lines truck. This was such a unique truck that I just have to try it. I've seen Freightliners with above cab sleepers, but they were all from the 40's/50's. I have two ebay cabs designated for the project, and I have an idea of what's involved. Thankfully, the sleeper on AMT's freightliners is actually an insert, so I can cut it down for above the cab. Just looking to see if anyone can guide me to some decent pix that show the front and side of the cab. I will be doing my truck pretty much like this one. It had a 6v92 Detroit Diesel engine and like a 7'drom box. Appeared to have weedburner exhaust, but pic is so small I cant tell, hard to get details from it. Going to do it in 1970's Allied colors. If anyone has pix, or can guide me to them(been looking at Hanks when I have time) could you help me out? Also, was the frontal intake that comes in the kit used on Detroit engines? Never saw this setup in person. When I worked on trucks the ones I saw had the intake stack like all the other cabovers. Considering how long the truck is, although frame is short behind the drom, makes sense to use the kit setup. Anyway, thanks for your help. I will post in progress pix soon, although you will more than likely see the drom box first. Still working the details on paper right now.

Go to ConvoyTM. It's a website dedicated to the movie. If you click on the link that says St Louis Dump Trucks, you can see the the life size replica that is being built of the black Mack. He also owns a truck from the movie Duel. Also, go to JBOT decals website, click on the decal dets for the trucks from the movie Convoy, and scroll to bottom of page, you will find links to 2 Convoy websites there with lots of pix. Good luck.

I don't believe they are anymore. When they were, I didn't have the means to get all the kits I liked from them(was a teenager at the time). -
Did we forget the AMT Beer trucks and trailers? Like the Coors KW/trailer, the Schlitz Mack/trailer, the Budweiser Pete/trailer, and the Pabst Freightliner/trailer. I bought an ebay junker Pabst Freightshaker with the trailer for $75+ shipping in Dec. I figured I could use the junker cab for an interesting project I'm working on. Crazy, but the tractor in this set is hard to come by.
