  1. Karl, Sweet job! I give you credit for taking the plunge and painting it white . I shy away from white paint jobs because EVERYTHING shows up BTW, I was lucky enough to visit Latvia about a year ago, beautiful part of the world you live in over there. The pine forests are amazing. Hope to see more of your builds.. Cheers, Ian
  2. Rick, Yup, been there as well. I sold all my stuff in '94 after my first divorce, HUGE mistake. After this divorce, I just moved my stuff to a buddys house, and waited until the funk was gone, and dove back in. Never again will I make that mistake HTH, Cheers, ian
  3. Chris, I drove a Morris 1300 when I lived in England back in the '80's Mine had dual mirrors out on the fenders. It was even the same color as in the brochure Wow, did that pic bring back memories..... Erik, Where can you get aftermarket outside mirrors? Cheers, ian

  6. Hey all, Is there anything wrong with Missing Link's site? I'm trying to order the Hudson 4-door conversion, but I can't seem to navigate the site. Any help? Cheers, Ian

  10. Matti, Nice job, Love those old Pontiac sleds Mid '60s body styles are the best.. I have several Bonnys myself, and I've addressed that rear "squat" issue. On the '65 Grand Prix I've been tinkering with, I glued styrene rod on the rear of the chassis to give it something to glue to. Seems to work, Cheers, Ian
  11. Looks good Geoff Nice, clean build... can't wait to see it finished...
  12. Alex, I picked Go Mango for my Cuda as well. I dusted my chassis and it looks pretty good. I still have to wetsand my body after another round of body work. I'm watching this thread to see how you progress on this build Cheers, Ian
  13. A lot of people use that Wesley's Bleche White, that whitewall cleaner, and put it in a tupperware container to soak it overnight. I use Easy Off over cleaner to clean my resin. HTH, Cheers, Ian
  14. Derick, Yeah, what doc said... post pics if possible... Welcome aboard. Cheers, Ian
  15. Bart, And thats the name of THAT tune!! Thats exactly what happened to me. When I went in the USAF at 18, my mom sold all my HO train stuff, and chucked all my models. I was not happy to say the least
  16. Doc, We always wonder about you , but I can't imagine this forum without you around
