  1. There is a lot to choose from, but I would probably show up in either this... Or this... Something with pizazz or muscle, depending on my mood..
  2. Erik, Amazing work! Really good stuff for one so young. You should have seen my stuff at 14. Cheers, Ian

  8. Can somebody PLEASE explain to me why I love rusty junk so much??
  9. I, for one, am so happy that this thread did not digress into a war. It's nice to see everyone put their $0.02 worth in this conversation and have a civil discussion. I agree with what Rob originally posted. I am guilty of not following thru on build threads. My problem is, that like most of us, I have modelers ADD and I have a tough time time sticking with a build to the end. This explains why about 85% of my stash is half built. I give the younger modelers who post build thread a TON of credit. I wish I would have had something like this at my disposal when I got into modeling hardcore in the late '70s. I say to the junior modelers who are members here, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND KEEP COMING BACK!!! Cheers, Ian
  10. Outstanding! thats what I needed to know. Thanks Rob
  11. Hey all, Just a quick question...... I was just wondering how I should try to remove paint overspray from Revellogram's kit tires. The tires in question came off of a '70 Road Runner glue bomb, and they are covered in paint overspray.. I though about throwing them in the Purple Pond or spraying them with Easy Off, but I actually not sure if that's the right thing to do.. I'm open to suggestions.. Cheers, Ian
  12. Sweet! what color is that?
  13. Alex, Nice job! I'm working on the exact same kit. I still have some body work to do, because mine was a glue bomb. I just picked some Mopar Hi Impact colors this week. Still not sure on the color yet, but I was thinking Plum Krazy or Go Mango. Keep up the good work Keep posting pics!! Cheers, Ian
  14. Very cool!! I like it

  18. Frank, Let us know when your tires are for sale. I could use a couple of sets myself Cheers, Ian
  19. I just contacted Model Empire to see if they had anything. Hopefully they will
  20. The only one I could find on the Slixx website is for NASCAR. I'm looking for 1/24th markings for muscle car tires Cheers, Ian
  21. Hey all, Looking to find some Shabo or some other type of sidewall markings for muscle car tires. I'm looking for the manufacturers markings, like Goodyear, etc. EvilBay has nothing, and I'm not sure where to look. Any ideas? Cheers, Ian
  22. Geoff, Nice job, I assume your using the UK version of Easy Off oven cleaner to take off the varnish? Thats what I use to remove chrome. You almost have to with those older MPC/Airfix, Monogram, and Johan full fendered cars. Too many sink marks and mold lines to just leave on there. I just got done stripping all the chrome on a Johan '31 Caddy Town Car. What a pain. Now I have to clean it all up and Alclad it. Hopefully it will look a lot better when its resprayed. Love the colors on your Chrysler.. Cheers, Ian
  23. Way to go Bryan! Another classic saved from the garbage! Nice paint job, love the color
  24. Alright Mike!! Will be watching this one. Arrowhead is a great place to order from!
