ty i kinda figured that its a hard color to match this is a chrysler green paint i picked up at advanced auto! If you look at it in person its lighter colored the same as the actual truck

I do it the same way never tried the angles I always had good luck with a straight cut.I have heard on other forums that guys just add on to the back of the frame instead of cutting it.I havent tried that either.

i tried that on some parts never worked for me

yeah a little This is the first one i ever put together .Overall its not a bad kit.Especially if you just build it out of the box.Think i am going to get another one of these

http://http://http://http://http://http://I bought this kit for the cat engine for my can-do wrecker then i figured mine as well swap engines and build the movin on truck so i cut the raised roof off replaced it with a flat roof then stretched the frame .I bought the the testors green evryone recomends but i didnt like it so i bought some green car touch up paint from the auto parts store its a tad dark but i think it will make the decals stand out !! ###### that sux.I heard of others having that issue and boiling water and submerge the warped parts in there a few minutes then take them out and work the plastic till its straight not sure if that worx like they say???Just a suggestion. Good luck post and let me know how you make out!!

cool i just read pre 1980 somewhere on the net cause i look at alot of truck sites for pics and reference for future builds. Also havent built one of these kits since i was a teen but i think the cab was a issue to where the seam is in the middle i think you could make that a day cab or sleeper? also read on here it tends give you problems
