Tim, What year model would you say this one is? My dad drove this one. Was there a name for this paint scheme from Peterbilt?This is what I plan to build with a reissue.

Ben Wicker on here has very nice wheels for sale. You will have to use allclad or some other chrome paint of your liking.

I guess I am confused as to why the wheels are such a big issue? We all have different taste in models that is what makes this hobby fun. If we all liked the same things it would be very boring. I guess what I am trying to say it comes with chrome wheels so if they are not what you like then ok get some two hole steel wheels like stated above from a caster. I am sure Ben Wicker or Jamie could help anyone with these requests. I just would hate for Moebieus to quit trying to put these great models out for us model truckers becuase they simply just cannot please anyone! Thanks and sorry if I offended anyone.

Ben, It sounds like you could have struck Gold or should i say chrome. If you are out of work i would say alot of us could help keep ya going by buying the wheels as fast as you could probably have them made it sounds like.

Come on guys! This is terrible to keep on griping and complaining about this truck.This is the second thread I have seen on this topic. Let Moebius do their thing. If you do not like the Lonestar thats fine simply don't buy it! They may eventually get a arround to making a truck that is more to your liking however by nagging and complaining constantly may cause them not to. If you bought one and your dissappointed just chalk it up as a learning experience and make the best of it. Lets put the big boy pants on and support Moebius to issue more truck for us. And what i mean by support is stop trash talk! Thanks

The pic on the trailer on the box doesnt have anything to do with what is to be released later. This trailer is right on with what is needed and is most common for us trucks, how could you be dissapointed??

Earl, Here is what Dave said in another post. Wheels are 10 hole Alcoas like LoneStar, for now. Doors do not open - Interior has no detail This isn't a test shot - this is the tooling Mock-up - this is for us to see how everything looks before tooling starts - We'll fix a few details that aren't quite right and add a few that are missing based on this mock-up before we start tooling. Test shots come in a few months after tooliong is done - test shots are early shots from the tooling we use them to make sure everything fits together properly. Dave
