This time I was looking for a car that was only build three times. It was the attempt to revive an old British car manufacture named Allard Motor Company. Allrad was known in the '40 and '50 for the J2 and J2X. In 1992 they want to create a new road going car based on the Lexus LS400. The car was presented to Toyota in the hope that they would agreed to manufacture a small series of the Allrad P4. It didn't work out. I think it is impossible to modify a boring car into something different than a more boring car. The correct answer were sent in by: Bucky Brizio dw1603 otherunicorn DonW Congratulation

In the country of Wilhelm Tell there were a few company's thad had assembled Studebaker, Packard, Plymouth, Dodge, Vauxhall, DeSoto, Willys for the swiss market. The first ever Swiss-built concept car was the 1956 Soletta 750. It was also the first car that was designed and built in Switzerland after WW II. I was looking for the 1988/89 Merkur Scorpio. The US derivative of the European Ford Scorpio/Granada. Merkur was a sub-brand from Lincoln-Mercury. Two Merkur models Sierra XR4ti and Scorpio) were sold by selected Lincon-Mercury dealers in the US and Canada. The Scorpio was build in Cologne /Germany. It was powered by a 2.9l V6 well known in the Ford Ranger, Bronco II and Aerostar. The Scorpio was a competitor of the BMW 5-Series, Audi 200, Mercedes-Benz 180, Volvo 740, Sterling 827 and Saab 9000. Following the 1989 model year, Lincoln-Mercury ended imports of the Scorpio (closing down the Merkur brand). Along with unstable pricing resulting in insufficient sales figures, continued sales of the model line would required a costly redesign to remain in compliance with American safety regulations From my own experience the Scorpio had a bigger interior with more leg and head room than a Mercedes Benz 180. The Scorpio was in my opinion the better car than a Mercedes Benz 180, but it was just a Ford here in Germany. Solution for quiz 526 not 426. I think this time the car lead in a direction were some of you thought it is a Mercury Montclair but it isn't. It is a 1956 Monarch Richelieu Convertible. Some source like conceptcras.com say it is a Mercury Monarch which is wrong. Monarch was a subsidary of Ford for the canadian market first established in 1946. The marque was dropped from the market in 1958. Monarch's were Mercury's with a different side trim and modified grill. They were sold through Mercury dealers in Canada. The correct answer were sent by: Richard Bartrop Bucky Earl Marischal sjordan2 MrObsessive Brizio matthijsgrit Bainford Can-Con dw1603 Congratulations

The 1995 - 2000 Aston Martin T.ax Concept was planned as the new Aston Martin Vanquish it was designed by Ian Callum who later designed the Jaguar F-Type. "A British car should be not mid engined" said Dr. Ulrich Bez, former CEO of Aston Martin and the project was dead. So Ian moved the engine from the middle to the front and created the new Vanquish V12 that was build from 2001 - 2007.
