Hello everybody! Since there isn't a wanted section for the diecast stuff, I hope this is ok. I am in search of a 1:18th scale Welly 1986 Mustang GT diecast. I need one for a project. I am having a hard time finding one. If anyone has one & would like to part with it, PLEASE let me know. I have stuff to trade or will pay. Thanks for looking. This is the one I am looking for:
-
That looks great Frank!!! Love me a '93 Cobra, especially a teal one!
-
Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone makes a body of 1 of these? Thanks for looking!

Love the color on this one , Shane. Wheels look good with the flat centers, too. Perfect!

Sure thing Christian! I cut the frame up on the Dub City car, both front & rear. I cut the ends where the brake rotors attach & where the metal axles come through to attach the wheels, and glued them to the Falcon chassis. The Falcon engine bay was not used, I made inner fenders & a radiator support from styrene. The engine is from an Auto Art Mustang GT. The engine is molded in 2 halves & splits in the middle. I cut a piece of styrene wide enough to sit between the inner fenders & glued the engine to that piece of styrene. I made a cold air intake from styrene & a resin cast filter. It still rolls just like it did, but the front wheels aren't steerable anymore. It looks like a complete engine when you open the hood. Hope this helps.

Thanks everybody! It's a 1:18th scale diecast. The wheels are from a Dub City 1:24th scale diecast.

Hey everybody! I've been fooling around with this Falcon for a while now, and I finally got it finished up. It's got a 4.6 3 valve from an '05 Mustang GT, new suspension, & new wheels. Stock interior that's been flocked. All comments welcome!!

The white Pegasus wheels look good on that 51. Sweet truck! -
That's a good lookin' ragtop Shane!

Dude!! That looks really good. It sits waaaaaay better than out of the box. I'm digging the redlines ,too. Killer build.
-
Man o Man!! That is killer Cesar! Love all the machined parts, and those wheels.....

Hey Everybody! I finally got some time on the bench with the F150. I took an idea from roadrunner79. I got a Craftsman Truck kit & used the chassis from it to get the stance & suspension I wanted. I stretched it about a 1/4 inch, and it sits just right I think. The engine now sits like it should, too.

That's a mean looking Camaro Jim. Love the amount of detail in this thing!! -
Hey everybody is entitled to his or her opinion. It's just a model car, this is how I wanted to do it. Thanks everyone for the comments. I thought about doing the wheels a different color, but I wanted a low key, toned down look. That's why I did it the color I did it, too. I wanted something different, and I think I've accomplished that.

The valve covers, heads, & headers are from the COPO camaro kit, I just smoothed the covers & shot them orange. The scripts are decals from the Revell 57 Belair post kit, the hood & trunk emblems. I thought it would look kinda nostalgic, & I like the way it turned out.

The wheels came off of ebay, a seller named forward resin. I bought a second set for the Monogram 55 F100 kit, gonna do something a little different with that one also. Very nicely casted wheels.

Hey Shane, love those Hellas in white! That looks killer. Might be stealing that idea for a '67 Fairlane project. -
That is GM Butternut Yellow from Paintscratch. Great material to work with.
-
Hey Everybody! I finally got around to getting some color, decals, & clear on this thing. I haven't wet sanded or polished anything yet, but it's getting there.
-
That looks badass Shane! Great stance, color, wheels, the whole shootin' match! What did you use to paint the grille?
-
Hey Everybody! I've been fooling with this Camaro for about a month now. I found some really nice resin steel wheels on ebay, & took the dog dish hubcaps from the COPO Camaro kit. Going for a pro-touring look I guess. Paint will be Butternut Yellow with the black nose stripe. Power comes from the kit big block. Thanks for looking & all comments welcome!!
