  1. That thing is super neat! Love the weathering, wheels, everything. What color did you use to paint the spokes of the wheels?
  2. That's gonna be neat!
  3. Gorgeous little coupe Mike. The extra effort to fix the errors that Revell didn't made all the difference. Excellent job sir!
  4. How bout these??
  5. Tyrone, that thing is killer!! The Yenko stripes definitely set it off. I was kinda thinkin the same as Kerry on the front wheels, but with flat gray or magnesium spokes, like an original Torque Thrust wheel.
  6. Love how the wheels turned out. Great truck all the way around. Great job!!!
  7. That wouldnt have been my 1st choice to do a pro-tourer out of, but holy BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH that thing is killer!!! Like everybody said, there's no part that doesnt look out of place. great great piece.
  8. And here's pics of the exact same car getting paint & bodywork completed at a shop here in Virginia. This was taken before Kenny bought the car from the builder , also from Pennsylvania. Aslo note that the car was originally a twin turbo with a 632.
  9. You mean this car that's in his avatar that really belongs to Kenny Doak of K & K Advanced Door Car Technology??? Yea I have pics of Kenny's car. It has a 526 with a screw on it. Its for sale in Pennsylvania.
  10. I love the photoetched emblems! How can I get a set?
  11. Great job on that old Chevy!!
  12. I love this Falcon!! Im working on 1 myself right now, doing a pro-touring look. I would love to get my hands on 1 of those hoods & some of those emblems. Do you offer the fender badges in SOHC or just a 427 version? Again, great falcon.
  13. That was actually my first thought on this car. I have a set of the GMP chrome Torque Thrust wheels mounted on Goodyear tires, but when i was mocking up the suspension, i used wheels similar to what is on it now. Plus at the time, I was drooling over a '61 Starliner that Bobby Alloway had done for George Poteet. Here's that Starliner: I had no choice but to do my Galaxie this way!!
  14. I actually didn't paint this Galaxie myself. A friend of mine Jimmy Riddle painted it for me. I knew that if i painted it black, i would screw it up pretty good. lol
  15. I know what you mean. lol If you look down the side of the car, the body has a curved shape too, kinda like how a top fuel dragster arches downtrack? You cant see it looking right at the side of the car. A black 63 & 1/2 Galaxie with red interior is my dream car. I'd love to have a real one, but this will hold me for now.
  16. Custom emblem decals on the fenders, trunk & hood, along with personalized tags. Front wheels are rears from a 1:24th scale Maisto Pro Rod, & rears are fronts from a 1:18th scale Maisto Pro Rod. Worked out great!! The car still rolls just like it did originally. The hood & engine were robbed from a Sunstar 63 Texas Thunder Drag Car. All comments welcome!! In these pics, you can see what I started with, and the finished product.
  17. Here's a few pics of my 1:18th scale 63 1/2 Galaxie I finished a few months back. Started as a boxstock red on red 406 tri-power car. Now its a R-code 427 4 speed. New paint, wheels, & stance.
  18. Thanks for the kind words everybody. Its not done by far. The truck only has some self-etching primer on it right now. i have the paint for it already. It's 2 factory Ford colors. The bottom will be 1961 Desert Gold. Kinda reminds me of Chevy's Butternut Yellow, only a little paler. & the top above the trim will be 2007 Ford Performance White, a very bright white. Not exactly sure how to do the floor inside, flocked or aluminum. Maybe a mixture of both, flocked floors & aluminum trans tunnel & inner firewall. Hewre's a pic of Don Hardy's 61 Ranch Wagon in Desert Gold: I think it'll look pretty neat in those colors. Thanks!! The truck is 1:18th scale.
  19. Thanks for the compliments. The engine is from a 1:18th scale top fuel hydro. the inner fenders, radiator support & bottom of the firewall are all scratchbuilt with styrene. Scratchbuilt bed floor & wheeltubs, battery box, & battery charging posts.
  20. Hello Folks. This is my F100 Ive been working on for about 3 years now. It started as an out of the box Sunstar 65 F100. Now this is what I have ......... All comments welcome!!
  21. The number of posts that I have made in a year is not important to this topic. I am close friends with a staff member of RPM Magazine, a logo in which you have duplicated. I hope that you have recieved permission from these companies that you have logos of. I have no reason to question your ethics, however, attornies for said companies may. I am just giving a friendly piece of advice. With the business world the way it is these days, I wouldnt be surprised that a lawsuit could come of this. I've seen things much much smaller & less important get blown way out of porportion. I think the decals look great, and applaud you for creating them. I would just be cautious about presenting them on a public forum. I meant no harm in posting what I posted.
  22. I sure hope youre not trying to sell those. if you are i sure hope you have permission to use those logos.
  23. Nice wheels sir! I was wandering if you'd be interested in doing a one off set of wheels for a 1:18th scale diecast? Ive got a set of measurements & no one really makes any good wheels for those cars.
