The original rear with rounded tail lights / new rear panel made with heated styrene / new egg-shaped tail lights made with Tamiya´s putty and some Dremel working on it. The front panel has received a 2mm styrene piece. The original 53 Ford hood is too peaked and was smoothed. Also, another piece of styrene was glued to make the rounded edge fabrication possible. Still there is a lot of body work to do. So far, the body is waiting for the new fender lines.

Forgive me the purists, but I liked this car a lot. For me, that is the hot rod essence. Take one part here, put another over there and... Voilá! You got a custom ride! Ferrambo 1960 Rambler Wagon, chassi made by Art Morrison, Ferrari's 3.6 V8 engine, front and rear suspension. All parts from a crashed 360 Modena. By Divers Street Rods. 2008 Ridler Award (Autorama) winner. Purists or not, the fact is: this ride represents an outstanding building! And there it is!! Base kit: '53 Ford Wagon from R&R resin At first, I did not had in mind to make the model 100% equal to the original Ferrambo. Insomuch, I gave the fenders a square look and was intended to use this wheels set. But, as we used to say: "Once in hell, give daemon a hug"! So, I asked myself: why not??? So, I decided to build "THE" Ferrambo. I'll try to do my best to make it happens. Side panel that was sanded away! The body without originals pillars / new ones in place (correct angle)

Hi guys. I just got my "new" and "correct" Round2´s General Lee model kit. Box Same original art box. The rear provides a quick consult to the content. Content 5 plastic bags: -chassi, interior and body -transparent parts -decal -chromed parts -all other plastic parts Great!!!! A correct body!!! But, the same problems still there! Bad injection, lack of accuracy (where is the 440??? The Hemi still there!), gap between rear body and chassis, huge injection pin marks inside the interior, bad chromed parts, and so on. Ok, it was expected once we all knew that it won't be a new tooling. But at least the decal sheet should be colored correctly, doesn't it? Well, not this time!!! Again!!! I´m disappointed!

Hum…. very odd to listen this.. at last for me. I live in Brazil and I started to buy at RR (Steve) about 4 years ago. I never had problem dealing with him. Matter of fact, I must praise Steve. He always quickly replied me and also helped me to find models that he even not commercializes. I always recommend Steve and Resin Realm. I’m sorry to hear this and hope you can solve it as soon as possible. By the way, I guess Steve is a member of MCM Forum as well.

Resin Motorsports....1970 Ford Maverick
Drago replied to Resin Motorsports's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
A friend of mine runs a small company called DomModelCar. It's a pretty new company and its focus is the Brazilian cars. Unfortunately we did not have great muscles cars in the past like the American people. More precisely, 4 models have made success in the 70's: Ford Galaxie, Ford Maverick, Dodge Dart and Chevrolet Opala (yes, with “Oâ€). This last is a Brazilian version of the Opel Rekord C. Anyway, DomModelCar have started its business with Brazilian Ford Maverick, which also have some differences comparing to the American version (and so with JoHan kit) For years, we (Brazilian modelers) had to modify the JoHan´s kit to get our Maverick version. But not anymore. So, if you guys really wants this model, there is already a resin caster that made it. RJ, please don't take my post as a trouble. I´m a kind of guy that really support all initiatives. If you already started working on it, I say keep the good work. There is space for everyone!!! That´s the DomModelCar´s webpage: http://www.dommodelcar.com/ The option "FOTOS" means pictures of some projects & built models. Others links to see this DomModelCar´s Ford Maverick: Review (in Portuguese.. try Yahoo to translate it) http://www.small-dreams.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=4022 WIP: http://www.small-dreams.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=8340 http://www.small-dreams.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=7112 Concluded http://www.small-dreams.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=1744 http://www.small-dreams.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=4499 DomModelCar is also about to launch the ´67 Eleanor transkit. -

Simple cover the hood with masking tape. Cut off the excess then place the mask in the back of the CF sheet. You can drawn the format with a pencil or can direct cut using a x-acto or a scissor.

Does anybody know anything about this new kit? Any store out there selling already?

Would be nice if those big guys from Hollywood made more films with cars as maim subject? I mean,,, there is a great movies with car related, but comparing to total movies launched every year is insignificant…Transformers last year was good but a little “over†to me (read it as “bring more moneyâ€! Hollywood’s Rules!) And even these ones more recently, in my opinion, all sucks! Lets face it… Fast & Furious for example: it’s about to start the 4th sequence with basic the same tuning subject…Man… why not make something really interesting around Hotrods??? The last title (good one) I remember is American Graffiti….Or something like LeMans??? Please… more gasoline, more speed, more mils… less CG effects…less ridiculous scripts…
