Charlie this dragster came out beautiful. I followed as you were working on it and the final result is top notch. Your parts really bring this model to the next level and I'm almost certain I'm going to need some for my Ivo build. Awesome work

Dr. Cranky awesome build and I to was quite inspired by Nate's art work. He has a very different style of drawing and painting cars than I do and Its great to see other artist interpretations. Thank you for sharing the Ak products with us.....I will definitely have to invest in them. I really love this model Cranky you did a great job.

OK so looks like i'm going to 'fess up....I had no clue what a Volare was until this post. You did a awesome job on both and this is my favorite pro touring car to date. The gloss black base everything is sitting on is what really works so well with that green in your pictures. Much better than a white photo booth shot. This really is a work of art....thank you for sharing.

It just happens that I love everything you build. Great subjects, super clean style and one off out of the box thinking add up to some awesome model kits Ron. Lets see some more.

I love these Accord racers. You did a fantastic job on this one and the all black looks really mean. Paint and decals are amazing -
Now that is what this kit is suppose to look like. I'm glad you were able to do all the decal work. I really really wish I had the skill and patience to that on mine. Great job Matt

Wow what a awesome model. Everything about it screams cool and I love the detailing. This is one of my favorites so far. -
Thanks Dominik no this car has no clear coat at all....just model master competition orange from a testors single action air brush about six or so years ago. The original colors of the model were a much brighter orange, white, bright green and the darker Jaccs green. If the models decals were correctly applied it would look way different and way better, but hey its still cool. You nailed it Dominik on the private team......sometimes I make up stories to go along with my model kits and this was a small town speed shop that bought a ex high budget circuit car that was becoming slightly out dated for the pro rankings. The shop bought it....actually traded fab/welding work for most of it. They put a power plant in and did some cleaning/updating to go race in various scca events

Thanks guys and I definitely thank you for your comments even if its not particularly your thing. I remember It being a good kit other than the front suspension which sat the front up to high. Not a major problem to fix. The decals are what made the Jaccs car and they covered 98% of the body as most road cars do. I wish I could have got the decals on ,but maybe I will find one and have another go in the future. Oh yes I also recall this being the first car I ever air brushed....no clear just model master competition orange...ha ha silly kids. Thanks again guys

This is another old kit that I decided to piece back together and save. It was the Jaccs Accord and no way could I have handled the decals. I guess I decided to put the ones on I could and left it at that All comments welcome

Now this is quite interesting and not by any means what I was expecting. It really does look like a painting...I think you achieved the cartoon look pretty well perfect. This would look so cool on display......Awesome job!

Awesome job and I love the mean look this car has...fantastic model.

I love the staggered wheels.....looks killer with that stance. Cant wait to see it finished.

Revell '67 Chevelle pro street(Interior complete update)

Thanks guys I really appreciate you taking the time to look and comment....keeps me hard at it. Got all the chassis components painted. I used Alclad II chrome paint for the first time and this stuff is amazing. Also got all the holes drilled on the block and distributor for wiring. Things should really start falling into to place and this thing should be under glass soon ,but you fellas know how that goes Thanks again everyone -
OK now this is cool you did a fantastic job and way to think outside the box. Your paint work is amazing to say the least....just everything about this kit is perfect. I love the black on the tips of the headers and the chute detail. Thank you for sharing.

This is one completely amazing model kit. Extremely unique and perfectly executed. Not much more I can say.

Revell '67 Chevelle pro street(Interior complete update)

OK guys got the belts done...probably could have been way better ,but once this kit is built I think they will hardly be visible. Also went ahead and did the driver floor mat leather. I think I'm moving on to the chassis and motor -
Yeah It may not be perfect Micheal ,but its the first thing that makes your kit pop out over mine...not that either is better or any style is better than another. I just see that trim and It looks like a real 1:1 car. I did see where the front should have the chrome trim like the side ,but the fact that you did the sides and windows is awesome man. I have read where some guys apply the foil first then paint and lightly rub the paint off of the foil with thinner. Either way on this particular kit it would really really tough so hats off to you for pulling it off.
-
Dang Micheal yours looks stunning my friend....I need to learn to BMF to really bring my cars to the next level. I love the chrome trim as that's what the 1:1 car has and that color haha was actually the first color I sprayed it.....then I decided to shave the handles and go with a gold Javier man that is pretty much awesome I created your "dream Lexus"....feels good to know other people like your style and execution. Antonio nailed it on the head and while you can still hunt and find these particular kits online they are not cheap by any means....50$ plus no thank you. Thanks again for all the positive comments guys...It really inspires me to keep building....and to keep getting better.

Couldn't agree with Bernard anymore on this kit. There are tons of different possibilities and only after reading many Rod and Journals as well as watching "Ingenuity In Action(1958)" did I really know what I wanted to do with them. I'm 27 years old and I'm completely obsessed with early drag racing and hot rods Thanks for all the positive comments everyone

Looks awesome...nice clean build.
-
Thanks for all the comments fellas....this is one of the kits with the adjustable suspension Dave and now that you mention the brakes its kind of sticking out like a sore thumb ha ha. If you have any of these Aoshima kits hold on to them as they are no longer being produced. As far as the dropped look....well that's pretty much my life.....1:25 or 1:1 it has to have a low stance Thanks again guys
-
Another Aoshima kit pretty much box stock with the exception of shaved door handles and license plate holes. This is a older build so the quality is not so top notch haha ,but I'm glad I hung onto it. All comments welcome.
