Been working on this one for a few weeks now. Box stock build..this is my first nascar build and I will say there a little difficult. I'm working on the paint right now, but i'm afraid these monogram decals do not seem like there going to go on right. The few I have put on are really milky even after they dry. Anyone have any suggestions? I will post more pictures once final detailing and the body is complete. Thanks for looking

chasis source for a late model dirt track car?
krazyglu replied to DrewCfromSC's topic in WIP: NASCAR
A buddy of mine Terry builds late models and I believe he did the same thing mentioned above with splicing a nascar front clip to the ASA cage. It looked fantastic and I will try to get you some more info and pictures at the next group meet. Awesome work up there Tommy..did you make the body ?..I love these dirt cars I think I want to build one now -

That thing is really cool and yet another model I have never seen. You did a nice job...you definitely have a clean building style and your kits show it. What kind of paints do you use..?? aerosol or air brush....lacquer or acrylics. Sorry you just seem to have the whites and yellows down and I was curious as to your painting methods. Thanks for sharing -
Got them wipers up so they don't freeze to the window there huh.....better put that top up or things might be interesting come morning I'm sorry Jared I'm just teasing you bud and besides the wipers being up like that this thing looks great. These little cars will flat get it in the twisties....I have a lot of friends autocrossing and doing scca events in Miata's

I'm really liking the back shelf ones ha ha. Paint looks awesome...I like the idea of mixing it with some clear for a final coat. I like everything you have posted since your shelf cleaning began. You seem to have really interesting subjects and a nice clean building style...win win.

Ha well yeah you wouldn't find me doing that in the rain, but its actually pretty darn cool and suits the model well so I'm glad you don't care This thing looks killer....probably one of the nicest examples I have seen. I keep scrolling back up to check this out man I dig it. Thanks for sharing

Now that is so freaking cool......I have seen a few of these recently and searched for one with no luck at all. You really made this thing look awesome with all the extra details. Thanks for sharing -
That is really cool. Your showing me some really cool models I have never seen. Must feel great to pull something out from over a decade ago and it look this good.

Dang dude a snap kit......this looks fantastic compared to snap kits I have seen lol. I like everything about this....great job. So the tires..did they come from those little Tamiya motorized kits i have seen at my hobby shop?

Those look sweet, but you posted a thumbnail picture so I cant see anything.....we need bigger pictures these things look awesome!!

Very cool kit that I have never seen....then again its nearly twice my age I love the color and the kit, but the little diorama is just way to cool Bill. I agree if you angled your camera slightly different it would look 1:1. Thanks for sharing

Amazing just simply amazing. I googled "pesco hydro pump" and learned some stuff. I love anything low and the pioneering of going low is just that much cooler. thanks for sharing -
I did not even have to see the name in your sig to know that this was Gary Seeds.....holy cow dude I absolutely love your story in the other mag and I cant get enough of your work. All those amazing models in the 2011 contest annual and your Monogram '65 Chevelle had me just plain speechless. Your painting is so insane and off the hook it is exactly where I want to be when I'm older and more skilled. I dream of being a 1:1 custom painter and being able to bring that to a 1:25 scale is far and few between my friend. Thanks for sharing your work and please feel free to show me all of those cars stacked up on your workbench. Awesome stuff and hopefully I get to meet you someday Gary.

very cool mine also became a low budget racer, but I paid way more than 5$ and my decals were fine other than the fact that I was to scared to attempt it . I like that color....it kind of has the look of a factory honda color...great job.
-
Are you kidding me.....this is insane my friend. Custom would be a understatement for sure. I have no clue what this is ,but a little googling will solve that. Great job on a very very unique vehicle.

This is a outstanding model kit. It looks very real in those pictures. Paint is perfect and hopefully with enough practice and screw ups I can make mine look as good.

Whoa that thing is awesome...I love the matching paint scheme. I like all the little touches you added and I cant see any dust from here. Great job

Well got some color on the cab and the did some more hacking here and there. Engine is done minus the headers...which I still do not have figured out yet. Interior is also done, but I'm afraid its hard to see in there with that chopped top. I don't know why the steering wheel was painted candy red...It seemed quite fitting even though it does not match the paint scheme. Seats are black vinyl pleats...nothing fancy. Hope to have this done by the end of the month. Thanks for looking

Man this thing is so cool...I love the interior and the skeletons. I tell ya this forum has opened my eyes and showed me some really cool work. That is such a bummer that it was destroyed and parts were lost...enough to make a grown man cry, but you didn't and instead rebuilt it so you won Thanks for sharing and what a great model.

Your practice seems to have paid off.....great looking build. Those flames look killer and with the flash on wow do they pop.....I'm waiting for the model to just melt into a blob of styrene.
-
I also followed this in the work bench area and you did a fantastic job....you are definitely very skilled and I'm glad you jumped the huge hurtle of actually completing one. I like your wild creations and I hope we see more. Thanks for sharing

You did a outstanding job on this...the weathering...armor all looks spot on. Interior with the duct tape roll bar padding is perfect Thanks for sharing

Wow John you and your lil' minis sure pump out some awesome models . I bet there tiny hands do all the hard work and you just take credit. I really really like this one. I'm not huge into wild multi engined vehicles, but this might be the coolest thing I have ever seen.

whaaaa...is that your 1:1 Shane? Wow that thing is gnarly looking. Dam* dude I love It and my model looks really close to matching haha. I thought my bed might look better shorter like yours ...I might still do it. I want my headers to look just like those also. Too cool thanks for sharing that picture Shane I'm stoked now. Thanks John your definitely a big motivator for me.
