1/16 Engine Build
krazyglu replied to Pro Tech's topic in WIP: All The Rest: Motorcycles, Aviation, Military, Sci-Fi, Figures
Wow Charlie I am just blown away with how clean your work is. I know that's all we ever say, but what else is there to say? I can't wait to work with your parts. I am curious as to where I can get a 1/16 engine besides the pricey hard to find Revell or Aurora kits? I would really like to build just a engine as you did, to get my big scale feet wet -
Very cool looking. I am not a vette guy what so ever so seeing a race version versus the typical stock one is really refreshing. Great work

Looks wicked, I like the light blue frame. Did you not build the engine? Nice clean job on everything.

That is incredible. I love everything about it man, it looks so wild and cool. -
Ha "the wolf" drives the Nsx and that would be Pulp Fiction. I really like Quentin's style of movies and those bashed up cars look really cool.

Congratulations Dr Cranky...

Dr. your awesome and all of your how to videos are great. You always seem positive and really excited about this fun hobby we all enjoy. Definitely inspires me all the time. Anyone I know who builds something rusty or apocalyptic I refer to as "Crankys style". Yes good sir you have your own style Keep them post and builds coming, I like them all. -
Ha I love it you did a perfect job Curt. Great choice for a movie car my friend.

correct my dad had a '68 with a single 4brl. This thing looks great, what color is that interior? Really nice choice of colors inside and out.
-
Wow that is awesome looking. Paint and decals look really good. I'm pretty sure it is a curbside, but I will let Shawn verify that. Most of these Tamiya closed wheel racers are curbside, the decals are challenging enough

That is a wicked car and you did a nice job of replicating it. Thanks for sharing.

Over in the how to area Gregg has a little tutorial on how to post pictures. You need to start with a photo hosting site such as fotki, photobucket or Imageshack. Let us know if your still having problems and we will try and help. edit: haha and walla there here. Looks good I like the colors you painted the body and the gold interior is awesome. If I could just suggest next time you take pictures use something white, as simple as a piece of paper that way your model really pops and we can see all the detail. It kind of blends in with the brick. Thanks for sharing and nice job.

I went to someones house to replace there geothermal pumps and in the room with the electric panel sat a cage. I heard something moving around and to my surprise it was a squirrel. He was really fun and very interested in me. I like Rupert, he looks cool. I have grey ones and some solid black ones behind my house I watch play in the woods.

Yeah dude I wouldn't get all crazy and strip the paint, I figured into the build your skills grew and so did the amount of detail. Oh yeah and go Cardinal's, I love cruising down to the 'ville and hanging out with my friends.

That thing looks pretty sweet man, stance is on par. I love the turbo work and the front exit exhaust. Your little blitz turbo timer and those extra gauges look perfect. The ever so popular jdm fogs look spot on as well. I think you should have filled the rear bumper cut out where the exhaust would have exited though and I think I liked the grey stock seats better even though the jdm seats are so popular with this style. Maybe if you hit the seats with some dull coat as they look really shiny and plastic like....might just be the photo. Really great job and probably the coolest I have ever seen this kit.

Whole 'nother day later and I still love this thing I just noticed the steering wheel looks modern like the momo one in my car actually. Works better with that motor than a typical large hot rod steering wheel. You might just be to cool for your own good Chuck Most.
-
Uh your not allowed to do that, wait yes you can and you did. All of your stuff looks so awesome and this one is no exception. I Like how the Japan body, motor, right hand drive and plates are meshed together beautifully. I really dig this one Chuck.

Joe your cracking me up over here man, she said she wanted a alligator limo so grandpa made her one Of all the alligator limo's I have seen I would say yours is the coolest....great job and great story.

These both look awesome. I don't think could even make a decision of which kit to build in 24 hours
