  1. Holy smokes that chassis is a work of art, Cool Hand really did a amazing job with the linkages and air bag shocks. If its possible could you get a closer shot of the front suspension showing the air shock and tubular drop spindles, you will have to use the little flower icon on your camera called the macro function to get tight clear shots. I like the color choice and the wheel's. Sounds really cool pulling a Galaxie trailer, I just picked up the 38' goose neck for a little dio I am working on.
  2. Wow that is my all time favorite car, If I had to choose just one it would be a '32 and probably be true to Ford with a flathead. As mentioned above your Alclad painted pieces look great. I will definitely have to place a order with Replica and Miniatures of Maryland after seeing these pictures. Really looking forward to more progress on this one.
  3. That looks awesome, I really like your work. Its super clean and your decals always look good.
  4. ^That is really cool and thanks for the info Tommy. I think its just so awesome you support and used actual local places, nice attention to detail. Keep them dirt trackers coming guys, I am working on a hauler for my sprint car.
  5. This thread is awesome, Ron your decals are really cool, are those fictional places or real? I like the fact that they are local to you, just like what you would see on a Saturday night at the track.
  6. I am liking the old school stuff guys, Lanny that Hooters sprint is awesome looking, nice collection you have there.
  7. That my friend would be part of the Aoshima line that is discontinued. Ebay and some online hobby shops(mostly Japanese) are about the only place to find these unless you get lucky. I am loving the look you have going on here, that nail polish color is looking really good. Your body work looks real nice and it will show in the end. Keep going bro

Chris built this in 15 minutes If it had a engine it would have took him 30 minutes. Looks cool, I like how you did the trim black and the Watanabes are always nice looking on this car.
  9. She did a great job on that thing, congrats. I live in Northern Kentucky also Bill, Erlanger to be exact, pretty cool a local guy is on here. You say you own a garage also..?
  10. I actually really like the decals you used, they fit the body and era perfect. I know it stinks when things do not go as planned..keep going on this one.
  11. That is really cool, I always loved that car and the wheelie diorama is really awesome. Nice job on resurrecting it.
  12. I really like what you did with the wheels, they look good. The color is cool, the license plate frame is a great touch.
  13. Holy cow that is stunning, the detail is out of this world. I like all your work ,but this must be the best I have seen. Thanks for bumping this one back to the top for us new guys.
  14. I love it already and trust you will do a wicked job Frank.
  15. Looks awesome Mike and its all about having fun man, just a bonus when you can share pictures and feed of everyone's comments.
  16. That looks really cool, I saw one of these at a swap meet and completely forgot about it. This makes me want one again What did you make the front brake ducting out of or is it just painted to look so real? I love to see all the extra details on a race car.
  17. I like it with those wheels, where did they come from? The colors you chose are also really nice. Different, but cool....nice job.
  18. That is a cool looking little model, I like the home town vibe it has and the little Bowman Grey flyer is a cool touch. Some of you guys get way to wrapped up in the meaning of scratch building......Lets not take ourselves to serious here fellas. Do you call out a woman when she says that macaroni is made from scratch when clearly she bought five different ingredients from the store, mixed them and heated it up....no you eat it and shut the blank up
  19. I recognized this model right away and confirmed that it is in the Scale Auto '98-'99 contest annual. It caught my attention because both the style of car and color are different and I don't think I have ever seen another since. You have a really clean build style, I like the added details and the flawless paint work.
  20. Operating a club is a big job. You don't make money in fact your often spending your own and donating all your time for free. It takes a different person to organize and "run" a club. I wish the best of luck to you fella's and you definitely have the right attitude in not giving up.
  21. Got to get me some of that Dem Koat Bill I am glad you found it man and of all places Grainger would be the one, they have over 999,999 parts haha. That engine looks really good for the fit it is giving you.
  22. Yeah Bill why don't you explain a little about the paint you used
  23. Wow that is some amazing work Harry.
  24. Mr. Bill this is looking nice my friend, that dash is killer. Paint is glass smooth..
  25. This looks cool, I have had a sudden obsession with older lifted Chevys lately. I want one bad and I see them all over my area.
