I don't mind that the only time you chat is when your showing us your work I love the paint and as a artist I can't get over how good of a job you did at such a small scale. The car has a really nice stance and you just simply can't go wrong with the wheel choice, I think both of those factors make it a more realistic build.

Super Gas Cobra.....Complete, 11/24/2012
krazyglu replied to 1320wayne's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Very nice Wayne and this is exactly what I would see racing on any given Saturday night. I love the super gas idea of a more "tame" low budget motor and the a custom wild paint scheme versus a big corporate sponsor style paint job. -
early 90s oldsmobile pro stock detail pics needed
krazyglu replied to lou s's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Wayne Stevens you are the man and no doubt you would come through for us Funny story, but a local guy bought that Larry Morgan Old's and bracket raced it at my local track back in the late 90's. Still had Larry's name on the old NHRA inspection sticker. Thanks again Wayne. -
early 90s oldsmobile pro stock detail pics needed
krazyglu replied to lou s's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
I am actually working on Warren Johnson's Old's and have not been able to find any interior/detail shots online. I did manage to find a picture of the shifter setup by google searching Lenco shifters. I would also appreciate any pictures you guys might have. I'm with you Louie, it doesn't even have to be this car just a pro stock from the early 90's. -
Thanks John, I love your work. That Detroit Tiger is so awesome looking, I really like the dull look of the bug catcher....very convincing.

You have a amazing collection of model kits, all very clean examples. Most of us post one car, you post a collection . I also love the Detroit Tiger, the nose down stance is awesome and the reason I loved these old cars. Could you possibly post more pictures of that one, the scoop color looks really nice.

Very nicely done, I would love to see more photos.

Come on guys you have to read the post after the pictures. He wanted to try something different ,but simple....the color is Tamiya light green pearl.

I love the color and quality of the paint. The BMF work looks really good and so so much better than not doing it at all. Really nice job on this one Slusher, thanks for sharing.

96 Dodge Ram Worker Beater
krazyglu replied to cavemanx's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Looks good man, just keep building kits and have fun. Seems to me that you improved the kit over the years which is always good. Just remember that mastering the basic skills is one of the most important things. Sanding seams, clean smooth paint, BMF work on the trim ect. Always research your subject so that you get a idea as to interior colors, trim options ect., does not mean that you have to build the kit that way, but it helps to have reference pictures. You can definitely find these Dodge trucks out there still, I found both this one and the dually at a local swap meet. -
I always love your builds Chuck. This thing is so weird and cool.

John I love all your builds as you well know by now, but I love seeing my pop's act like a 55 year old kid every time I show him your builds. It is really neat to see his reactions to your extraordinary skills. Once again amazing job on this car and thanks for all the motivation you give us guys. P.S not trying to advertise or anything ,but Charlie at Pro tech does a awesome job with his harness, you get a sheet of white paper that has a smooth and more textured side. This allows you to color the belts with a marker any color you like. Note that the decals do not come with the harness though. Like John I used a slixx sheet and some decal solvent.

1941 Chevy Pickup custom
krazyglu replied to Steven2's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Looks to me like you chewed it up and spit out a masterpiece. The graphics continuing through the jambs looks awesome and shows the attention to detail. I love the flip nose and that battery box is also cool looking mounted to the frame. The wheel choice is interesting, but a unique build demands unique wheels. I will be honest it is not really even my style ,but I have to admire all the nice work put into this. Excellent job and thanks for sharing. -
Chris looks awesome as usual, your paint and assembly skills are top notch. I really like the look of the Volk's on this particular car, the simple single piece wheel works well on newer body styles. Nice job on the anodized extended lug nuts, I did blue on my current project

'50 Ford Pick-up
krazyglu replied to Pat Minarick's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
This is cool, I love new clean wheels on pa-tined bodies. I like the bed with the battery and fuel tank. I also like that intake a lot. Nice job on this one. -
What a awesome looking model kit, I love that crazy movie haha. You did a amazing job recreating the look and all the weathering, but the coolest thing is you stepped out of your normal building style and really really did a impressive job. I would love to see this one in person.
-
That my friend is a simple clean looking VW. I love the classic look of the Mk1's and you did this one justice. Perfect wheel choice and slammed to the ground just the way I like it. This would have to be one the coolest model kits I have ever seen built to be honest with you. Great job.

Wow that is stunning, I love the stance and wheel choice. The engine looks rally nice with all the details. i really like this one you did a good job.

Teresi: "Dyno Drags" Semi-Truck
krazyglu replied to John Teresi's topic in Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
John you amaze me more and more with every build. I saw it in the workbench area and thought it was such a cool idea that I told even my non model kit buddies about it. I know a bunch of people have already said this, but you can't tell when the pictures of the real truck stop.....I guess that's why you wrote that in capital bold letters John amazing job and you truly are a inspiration to us all. -
Now that is just way to cool and extremely imaginative. I really like all the details and you nailed the look, the intake and scoop look spot on and the gun is a work of art. Great pictures to capture all the details. I love this build. edit: looks even better sitting on the base, awesome work Mike.

Some Old War horses from days gone by ( OLD Builders )
krazyglu replied to gtx6970's topic in Model Cars
Very cool Bill, as you know I love those Dusters. I am not "old" ,but I certainly appreciate old stuff that has stood the test of time. I recently found the first model kit I remember building, the '58 Plymouth Fury Christine pro mod. -
Revell 1/25 1969 Charger Hemi with American racing rims
krazyglu replied to damop6v8's topic in Model Cars
Looks real good, I like the color and the wheel choice. -
I don't know the clear hood on the original is pretty wicked Seriously though this thing fits the description very well. There are a ton of little details I see that are very well executed. I love the gutted interior and the use of carbon fibre. It looks perfect with a massive inter cooler in place of the bumper. Very cool build, thanks for sharing.

I love this car, saw it on model scientist and you really did a awesome job on it. The wheels and stance are perfect, engine bay and paint are flawless as well. I like everything about it and wish I could own a 1:1 version.

That looks wicked Bill, your paint work is becoming flawless. The whole build looks great, but I really love the work you put into the interior.
