Wow your dream garage is quite exotic my friend Both of those Jaguars are awesome, but the XKSS just blows my mind. My favorite of all them would have to be the Ferrari GTO...you did a absolute wicked job on that car. The engine looks very realistic I also love the multi piece wheels on these car's and what I can see of the interior looks spot on. That would definitely look great in my dream garage if you want to bring it over

I love everything you have added or changed. Looks real clean and subtle which is exactly how I like my cars. Inter cooler was a sweet touch, the exhaust looks super real and sits perfect where it exits. Staggered wheels always look good on Z's, but probably the best part of all is that metallic silver paint job. Thanks for sharing this one!

Great looking car you built there. I really like that you replicated what "got you hooked". To me and most all of us that is what its all about Beautiful kit.

Wow Chuck you build really cool stuff. I love the '60 Chevy truck..that thing is rad. Also like the rusted '78 Dodge. Thanks for sharing all these Chuck.

right click...save..right click save....HOLY SMOKES!!! This thing is completely awesome. You did a incrediable job on the all the paint/weathering, but the engine is simply stunning. Thanks for sharing

Whoa Joe I like that word and will now include in my vocabulary I have to agree with the comments above, but I have to give you a pat on the back on the Alclad....you really nailed it. Awesome job.

Bill it looks sweet...I love the gold pinstripe decals and hey I never thought about leaving things in bare plastic, but it really works in that situation. Nice build bro.
-
Sweetness I love the lifted truck and the this is a different view than I seen in my magazine. The hot rod is right up my alley and the decals on the Heli Hemi are perfect. There is a lot of awesome stuff in here...thanks for sharing.

Alright I was hoping they would come back so I could see them. Good looking kit you built, I like the color. I think it needs to sit a tad lower, but with fit issues its nice to just get it completed and on the shelf. Your about a hour north of me so your pretty local

This thing really is awesome and although you maybe could have done a few things different we all agree its wicked. I picked up the Ducati Mike Hailwood replica last week and It will be my first bike and first 1/12 scale. Thanks for posting this a motivating me Erik.

Dr. you truly are a craftsman....I have been watching some of your weathering techniques on the tube, but I will Have to talk one on one with you when I try my first weathering project. Impressive collection you have turned out this year and all are really unique. I enjoyed all of them, but I still have to say the VW is my favorite for several reasons. Keep sharing and keep teaching Cranky

Looks really good Dominik. All of your detail painting really sets this off.

Awesome job on this model...I love seeing these rally cars. This thing looks really cleanly built and top notch on the paint/decals.
-
Yeah this is pretty much insane. I have a hard enough time with 1/25 haha. Awesome job Jon.

ha my daily driver is also "murdered out"...never seen a model kit though. Sounds cool...you should build one and share pictures with us.

I am big into VW's and this has got my attention. I love what you have going so far!!

Tommy thanks for showing more pictures. This has got to be one of my all time favorite model's. I am not real sure why as I have never been real into dirt track anything, but you captured the look so well that I want to build one....someday . The sheet metal brass work is amazing...the hubs and way the wheels come off like the 1:1 is amazing. I think the paint colors and lay out are also what draws me in. Exactly like what I would see If I headed to the local dirt track Florence speedway on a weekend night. Awesome job Tommy and thanks for sharing.

Back with a little teaser for you guys....paint is quite dirty and lots of orange peel, but I will take care of that after I shoot the red. Got the clear on the decals and I am going to start cutting tonight! I really love the look of these trucks.

chasis source for a late model dirt track car?
krazyglu replied to DrewCfromSC's topic in WIP: NASCAR
Yeah I'm going to have to ask for more pictures Tommy..I am sorry, but its one of the coolest model kits I have ever seen and up until I saw it I had no interest in building a late model car. The clear spoiler..the rivets holding the side nose pieces on..this thing has a wicked look and I need to see more of it. -
Wow that stinks....I mean without the decals its just a plain race truck..the decals are kind of the whole point with a professionally sponsored race vehicle. The particular layout on this DieHard truck is going to make this crazy hard. I will have to do a ton of precise difficult cuts..haha and this was suppose to be a quick in between box stock build. Well nothing I can do now except give it a try. Guess I will begin this decal process as I'm waiting for my paint to cure and such. I want to give you Bill a big thanks as I would have been pretty upset with how they would have turned out..and once there on its to late. You took the time to pass on a cool tip and for that reason alone I'm going to give it my best shot. The paint on your cars looks out of this world...The Aqua Fresh car looks like all the sponsors were painted on. Thanks again guys I will post up as soon as I finish the paint and it will probably take a year or so for me to get the decals done
-
Holy smokes that is a awesome car you built there. I love everything about it...this thing is spot on Cliff. I would love to have a set of those headers..WOW!
-
Thanks for the positive comments everyone. Bill I took a couple pictures of what I mean and upon further inspection it appears to be bubbles. I guess I'm not getting the decal flat and air bubbles are underneath it causing it to be almost white when it dries? I have used decals on newer kits with no troubles so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I use warm water and pat the decal down with a q tip. I thank you for sharing that technique as I'm sure I will use it with all these older kits I like to build. I got some gloss black on...and day glo red will be shot on the bottom. It takes weeks for me to complete a paint job so It will be a while until I post again. Thanks everyone

We certainly don't mind you sharing pictures...... we just request more than two . I would also like to see some interior and engine pics. Looks really clean and thanks for sharing.
