Thx. Guys, Ok the turbo's went back to the original location and are done. Every thing is just pinned together at this point, The exhaust exit is just for checking to see what it looked that's why they are unequal length but that is where they will exit. I still have to make the wastegates which i will attempt to do on my lathe, I will start on the intake tommarrow. This is what i want to build for an intake, but the throttle bodies will be in the back.

Looks great Greg, nice clean work.

anemic? 7/32" .218Dia. 5.5mm , If i make it flush with the body i have just enough to get it off. If i go bigger on the exhaust when i make the flange i won't have room for the boltheads, i thought about ordering a set of the 3" turbos, the ones there are the 2-1/2" turbos. But i think the turbo size looks ok.

Thx. for the feedback guys and the kind words. Was messing around for a couple min. tonight with the exhaust outlet, not much pipe there lol. I really wanted it to exit closer to the door but i think it will look fine here also, The picture of the front end shows where it will exit. I may try and make another set of lowers for the headers tommarrow to put the turbos back where they originally were. I like where there at now and they both turned out even side to side. The 1:1 picture of the front end is off a 57 promod to show exit location.

Thx. for the info guys, Much appreciated. -
I know dave told me alot of the guys run one small 16v Braille battery now because there so small and they can mount any where. Here's braille's site for reference. http://www.braillebattery.com/

Thx. for the feedback guys, Here's where i'm at now. These are the 2 different positions i'm looking at, I like position #2 in pic #3 and #4 because it would be really easy to do the plumbing, But with the position in pic #1 and pic#2 i can put intakes in the hood, I bought some of those naca ducts to put in the hood area. but the exhaust will be hard to do because it will need a 90 to exit.

#1- I see guys doing mock ups using putty to hold the tires from rolling or to hold parts in place, what kind of putty are you guys using for this. #2- What would be the best putty to use for making weld beads.

Such a beautiful build, I'd leave the headers alone. That engine is off the hook.- 369 replies

Looking good Tyrone, looks alot smoother. -
Thx. Bart, I have pictures of that car. Well this headers 3.0 or maybe 5.0, i forget i lost track, These darn things have been kicking my butt. This is what i came up with should look decent when painted up, I think for my first car like this i bit off more than i could chew lol. Gonna finish up the lower half of the passenger side tommarrow. Let me know what you think, if they don't look good please tell me i'm looking for constructive feedback.
