  1. Nice work Bill, what brand lathe is that?
  2. Looking good Jeff.
  3. Much better looking good, The only thing i might change, You look to be pretty far back compared to where the front seat will be , I'm judging this off your inner door panel line. The rear cross bar should be right at the back of the front seat or pretty close to it.
  4. Whoaa!!, easy there Jim i didn't put in my order yet. I kid, I kid lol
  5. Very nice chassis work, Who makes that snorkle?
  6. No updates yet guys, I will have some soon. I made the battery and mount so far. After talking to Dave i went with a Braille super 16v battery. Will get some update pics once i get some more worth posting, I will start on the fuel/oil cell for the front next. I have been working on my rear trying to get that squared away also.
  7. Great build, paint looks beautiful. Oil pan looks a bit low, watch out for those speed bumps lol.
  8. First you are a great man for rescuing Rex, Don't be to down on yourself because you gave him a 2nd chance in the first place. The best thing is your the last thing he saw before he passed which is a great thing. I know it's very hard i had to do it before and i'm dreading when it happens again, Sometimes another dog is the best healing. I know i didn't want another one right away but my women talked me into it, so i went and rescued a dog and it was the best thing i did. You will find a new Buddy. R.I.P. rex.
  9. Man awesome stuff Scott, Looks like you will be getting some of my $$.
  10. Bart the Vette is actually a Procharger, surprised it's belt drive and not gear drive. The 2nd pic is the gear driven Prochargers. Hmmm gives me ideas lol.
  11. Chassis looks great Chris. wish i could get more motivated on mine.
  12. Looking good Tyrone, Would love to see you do a turbo car next. What do you do for the front clip mounts?
  13. Nice stance, Gonna look sick when it's done.
  14. Like others said fishmouthing works to make a better fit, I used thicker CA glue that takes 10 to 15 sec to dry. Test fit your parts a couple times to make sure they fit where you want them to, I also hold it where i want it before i glue and mark it with a marker where it is attaching to make lineup easier. I would also suggest if you plan on using the stock dash try to get that fit in there then work you cage around that, With a 57 chevy i think your A-pilliar bars should run down just ahead of the front door. Another thing is goto google and type in 57 chevy roll cage pictures and you will get alot of reference material. Here's a link to some good roll cage pictures to help you. http://autoweldchassis.com/57chevy.ivnu
  15. Nice work on the turbos, they look great.

  18. Looking good Derrick, I see a daytona lurking in the back round.
  19. Mike, what sanctioning body does that car run in? Also maybe some pictures of the battery and fire bottle setup would be cool.
  20. Great Pics, That's the kind that slides into the chassis. Might have to try that, i see the steering rack that gives me some mount ideas for that. Thx. for the pcitures Mike, Greatly appreciated.
