  2. Thank you Bill, and for all of your information on this build. It helped , a lot. You are the big scale guy!
  3. Thank you Ian
  4. Thank you Ray
  5. Thank you Bainford. It is so big, it draws you right to it. The big cobra is the center of attention in my model room.
  6. Thank you deuces wild
  7. A 1/8 Agora 427 cobra. Great kit. The kit comes prepainted blue. I repainted it red. Changed it up a bit. Had chrome rollbar, sidepipes and wheels. Changed those also. My friend Mark 3D printed rivets. They are on the hood and hood scoop. Hope you like.
  8. The agora kit did not have the rear deck snaps. The mfh kit did. Was thinking of adding them but it looked so clean I just left it. The car is finished
  9. Thank you Bill
  10. Hello Ray. I do not understand, snaps?
  11. Thank you Bruce
  12. Thank you deuces wild
  13. Thank you Bill. Every thing helps. Mating the chassis to the frame was exciting. About 95% finished. Will finish it up next week, I hope.
  14. Hello Bill. Yes you are very right on both counts! The windshield frame I’m finishing like my mfh kit. Without all of the visiors and wind deflectors . I really recommend this area to be left alone. I spent 6 hours after it was stripped to get the finish I wanted. When I did this the windshield did not snap in like it should. This was another pain I created. This is why I recommend to leave the windshield frame alone. Build it as Bill did. Bill , what did you use to strip the wheels on your Shelby GT 500? And the polish you used? I’m thinking of buying the tires and wheels for the supersnake. It is a option, but those wheels need help. And have to bring the white paint for the tire lettering. Thank you for the help on this car. Your build reviews really helped and it’s making life a lot easier with this build. I’m also watching out for the wiring on this. Holy cow! There is a lot of wires. And you are right on flipping this car upside down. You do it a lot. Thanks for the help.
  15. Putting the doors on and dash. The windshield frame was painted silver. I stripped the silver and sanded and sanded and sanded then polished the metal. Looks acceptable now.
  16. Hello Ray and thank you. Of all the 1/8 scale kits. This one is ( in my humble opinion) the best. It’s a lot of money that’s for sure , but if you buy one 1/8 kit. This is the one. I’ve noticed that this car is copied after a continuation Shelby cobra. That is not bad at all, but I have noticed the brake pedals have a ( CS) logo on them , not AC. and the valve covers are black with Shelby on them. The original were chrome with the 427 decal on the cover. But that’s it. The model kit is very well engineered. I’m really impressed with the frame. WOW. Hats off to Agora for the frame. The body seems correct. Interior is very good. Oh , the car has a dash plate , like the continuation cars. The original did not have that. I’m being picky I guess, but if you spend this kind of money, you want to know what your getting. You are the expert on cobras and I believe you will really like this. Some things are simple but you can add any amount of extra detail if you want. I’m glad I did the mfh kit because it gave me a chance to look and see if agora was in the ballpark. This kit is easy to assemble, instructions are very clear. Bill is correct on the distributer. Needs a little help, and the side exhaust needs some attention also. Overall this is a excellent model with all the fun, without the insanity of a mfh kit. I believe you will be very impressed with this kit. I know it’s really expensive but you only live once. It will be finished in a few weeks. I set the rollbar and windshield frame on the body to see what it will look like.
  17. Assembled the rear trunk area. This is where all the wiring and the pc board is enclosed. The car has lights, brake lights when the brake pedal is pressed. Sound card for horn and engine sound. On the super snake the sound card is bad. I hope the cobra is better. Mocked up the windshield frame and rollbar. Going to paint the bottom of the windshield frame , black to make it look like the weather strip. I painted the rollbar black. Was chrome. Starting to come together. Not much more to go.
  18. Well I think I’m nuts but I have in my possession a 1/8 lambo Miura. I really need to cut this out. I do not know where I’m going to put it after it’s finished. Cool kit. Not very many made. My friend Mark found it in Italy. I thought after the cobra , I’m finished with 1/8 for awhile. Guess not. I need help.
