  1. Pretty slick, Slick. So you were able to get your #77 bit to fit in your drill? Or was it the Dremel Stylus? That I can see, but not the drill. That's looking great.
  2. Thanks Arturo. Really appreciate your comments. Bench time this weekend. Next up is the seat and interior, if you can call it that.
  3. Awesome find brother. Looks great. Now get back to the bench. Playtime's over.
  4. Thanks brother.
  5. OK...I know its not much of an update but for me, it is. Here's a few pics of the side mounted oil filter that I redid. Its all made of concentric aluminum tubing pieces and an aluminum rod for the center with the top ends polished. Much improved from the previous one.
  6. Mon that looks awesome Tim.
  7. Wells Fargo called and want their stage coach back. Awesome work my friend.
  8. Thanks for your comments and well wishes fellas. Much appreciated. I just couldn't do it...I couldn't lay unmoving in that MRI tube for 20 minutes. Its just too tight in there. Guess I'm a woos but with the sides touching my shoulders and my nose 1 inch away, nah - not today. I'm 6'4" and 285 pounds so why don't they make one of these for big-boned folks? I have an open MRI scheduled for the ninth. Hoping to get some bench time in this weekend. Walt's calling my name.
  9. A masterfully constructed piece of rolling art in scale. Love it brother. You continue to amaze me with your artistic talents.
  10. I can only wish. I was having trouble before going fishing but the trip took my mind off of it so I just need to be fishing more often.
  11. Looks like that table should have been there all along. Great update. What's left to do?
  12. Love me some Willys gassers and yours is really cool Derrick. Nice job on the lettering, did you use a brush. Liking the grill too.
  13. Thanks Joe. I'm hoping its something less serious than a herniated disk to two. That may not seem serious to you but I've never had anything in my life but a cold. LOL
  14. Glad you're back on the scale stuff. We've missed you. This is off to a great start. Hope you're able to source the missing parts without too much trouble.
  15. Looks excellent Derrick. Love those mid '50s Chevy gassers.
  16. Thanks so much Ed.
  17. Thanks my brothers. I appreciate your well wishes. Fingers crossed and am hoping to get some relief soon. Right now, I've been working on making a new side mount oil filter because I just couldn't believe the crappy one I made earlier. Almost done.
  18. Thanks for the picture Greg although my catches weren't quite so photogenic. Thanks for your comment Ed although its not the smell of thinner I miss, its the fabricating. No pharmaceuticals for me except for something to get rid of this pain. More on that later. Gary - I appreciate you chiming in on this build. Its going slowly. Ok fellas...I'm working on this a bit at a time although I'm having some medical issues and can't stay still for too long and need to move around and change positions. I think its a pinched nerve in my lower back affecting the strength and causing discomfort my left leg. X-rays yesterday and an MRI on Tuesday and then we should know.
  19. Johnny boy - you seem to make a post 24 hours after the previous one that has at least 48 hours of updates. I don't know what you're giving those minions, maybe Red Bull, but they are killing' it. Superb modeling my friend.
  20. Johnny - that is a thing of beauty and it seems to have come together so fast. I wish I could either build as fast as you or as masterful as you; I'd be thrilled with either one. You do both and do them both so well. How much for a stage coach ride overland to Santa Fe? I wanna go for a ride.
  21. I'm out on my fishing trip and have Walt's Puffer on the brain. What's up with that?
  22. Better get some for me too Joe. Maybe a second box. Chris - this is an absolute knockout. That frame is going to be so strong. You da man.
  23. Thanks for the comments fellas. Really appreciated. Stay tuned.
  24. It looks like Kevin, Bob and Stuart are doing a great job so far but as Chris said, they need to get back to work. Looking forward to some paint on this. Joe - although the sign says 'Under Construction'....it should read 'Under Destruction'. Just how can you construct with a rocket launcher?
  25. Here's a teardrop I did awhile back. All scratch except for the fenders.
