    finally ordered my Replicas and Miniatures engine upgrade. When it comes it is time to clear the bench and build this guy out of box, well you know except for the engine...... joe.

    Why not sand off the mesh, repolish and then use super thin clear fishing line to recreate the wire mesh. This has to be the fly line that they use for rigging 1/700 ships. It might work if you do not go crazy first.

    The Aoshima had a bit more engine detail and an opening engine hood. Otherwise, probably not so much different. joe.

    Fool me once..... Fujimi brought out the Aventador first just to be soundly out done by Aoshima. I think I am waiting to see who else covers this one. Surely Turin's greatest will be done by others. Tamiya???? joe.

    Wow! Black cars. I have such a problem figuring which car i would do in black! Obviously this not a problem youall have! I have Elvira's T - Bird to do but other than that i have no ideas for any others. Joe.

    Scott, I would get the porsche but for the price. The 288 is the one i am gunning for. I hope itis next. I think it will be more interesting than the porsche because it will have a far different construction technique thanthe Enzo. Joe.

    Yesterday, i got a RM '68 Corvette convertible. I just about have all the gens covered. I just got a notice that an ebay purchase is out for delivery. '69 Chevelle. Now if the Modelhaus '68 conversion gets here i will have my next start. Joe.

    Tamiya has announced a 1/12 Porsche Carrera GT to be released in February. It is in the same series as the big Enzo only about $100 more. joe.

    What scale is AMT's '53 vette? I am a bit miffed that Revell released Monogram's 1/24 rather than a 1/25 keeping in scale with all of the other Revell corvettes. joe.

    Why in world would they make the '53 Corvette in 1/24 when almost every other Corvette they make is 1/25??? it is highly unlikely that after buying at least 6 different Revell Corvettes in 1/25 that i am going to buy a 1/24th. I really think that is stupid. I am sorry, but this makes no sense. Sorry, rant over. joe.
