joe.
I have two in college. My daughter is going back for her 2nd year (Loyola Chicago) and my son for his 5th (DePaul) He changed majors and schools and sat out a semester in the ptocess. I love to have them home for weekends and the summer and i love to see them go back. They are growing up and it is part of the process they/we have to go through; like it or not. They have become real city kids.
The boomerang thing is all together different. I am not sure how to handle that. I want to sell the house and downsize for retirement and my wife says we still need the house in case they come back!
I guess that decision is a bit easier now that the house is down about 25%!
I have not had good luck getting it to cover white styrene chassis. It does not cling to the high points. Yes i wash the plastic. I also use Plastic Prep.
Maybe i have the wrong Krylon Satin Black??????
Can you tell me exactly what the label name is. I know they have several lines.
Thanks,
joe.
With the exception of exotic aftermarket stuff, i buy from my LHS. He special orders and i don't pay shipping. Every so often he knocks something off like 10% but even if he doesn't it gives me some place to hide on Saturday mornings.
Hard to shoot the breeze with the UPS guy.

I have a 1/16 MPC Cobra in the stash but i have never read any articles on a detailed build. I will certainly be interested in your article.
good luck, btw, did you ever find any aftermarket sets for this car?
thanks and good luck,
joe.
one thing is that you need to be extremely careful puttnig it back in to the Revell Germany box, if that is the version you have. The window frame is easy to deform.
joe.
there are no words to make this better but i do pray your pain is eased somewhat by knowing he will always be with you in your heart and in your thoughts.

I have both the 1/24 and 1/12 Enzo plus much aftermarket. I have followed your build and hope to see your finish.
Any chance you will do the big one?
joe.
I will be starting this kit as soon as the photo etch and carbon fibet decals from SMS gets here.
I am considerably less than "Jonesed" by theengine anddrivetrain detail since i have discovered that the front section is not removable!
This is just acurbside kit with a lot ofextra parts!
Maybe i will put the engine on a stand next to the completed kit.
What a weird design for the kit.
Joe. Rant off
I don't consider my self a perfectionist because i do not do extensive scratch building to add missing detail. I will, however buy every aftermarket set there is to supply the detail and i will do detail painting and add wiring and tubing, seat belts and such.
The one thing that really eats at me is I cannot tolerate my mistakes. I have no idea whose voice it is but something keeps screaming at me to do my best, "Don't be afraid to be perfect!". I actually think it is my mom!!!
joe.
Thanks guys,
I went to the LHS, my usual Saturday morning haunt, he said the '62 Corvette was an August release and pit an order in for one. Hopefully, it will get here before i leave for vacation!
