  1. Thanks, The stainless trim was all done with Testors silver chrome and gloss clear. I'm not good with BMF.
  2. Neat! This one looks like ts moving when it's standing still.
  3. Don't feel bad, you probably just need more promotion. We tried to have one here at the world headquarters for model airplanes,(AMA) when they offered us a free facility for two shows a year. The first show was pretty much just our club and a few other local builders. The second time we invited venders and may have had even a smaller turn out. The local hobby store helped promote some but, still not enough. We are now waiting for some other more organised group to take over. Do you Know of anybody? I think it just takes good leadership. Most of us just build models.
  4. Thanks for sharing your photos Bill. Looked like a great show!

    I love it! Nice job!
  11. WOW! That woke me up! Thats a bright color, and shiny. Turned out awesome. It might cause a few wrecks. LOL
  12. I've never seen it done with the red, very interesting! I live about an hour away from James Dean's home town of Fairmount, Indiana. Nice job on the model Russell, I love it!
  13. I had a can of '50s pink and my first Hudson so, what the heck. The hudson dealer had this painted for his wife, so started the new fad in the '50s and the rest is history.
  14. It turned out great David! Didn't mean to highjack you in the beginning over that "dang" hose. You can be proud of this one!

  16. The work you did on the wheels is incredible! I love the spoke wheels. The exhaust is pretty cool also. Can't wait to see more!

  18. Nice job! What color is/was that? Just kidding.
  19. ........ The '64 Impala won the '64 US Nationals C/FX class (this was pre funny car) owned by Dave Dehart owner of Suburban Motors Muncie, Indiana and driven by Don Rudick. It had a de- stroked 327 by use of a 283 crank making it a high reving 301 cubic inch engine built by Don. After the Nationals the stock 327 was put back in it and the car was sold with only the low drag strip miles "1/4 mile at a time" on the odometer.
  20. There's nothing better than a '32 Ford for a Rat Rod! Welcome to the Forum Brendan.
  21. ............ My first 1:1 car a '55 Chevy was the most fun I've had in a while.

    Lexus GS400

"GNGSTR" or "PIMPIN" for the plate but, then you would need dark tint. LOL Nice job on the model!
