  1. It looks good for a three day build or otherwise. If you enjoy the long term builds go for it! More detail = more eye candy!
  2. It's gonna be another nice one! You can't go wrong with a '32 Ford.
  3. Very nice and a lot of cool detail!
  4. It looks pretty cool with the stretch or what ever you call it! It looks like you had a lot more fun the second time around. Nice photos too!
  5. Is that Carol Shelby or Doc? It turned out cool!
  6. Since you mentioned it here's a stock Willys found at Gartlis museum in Florida, thought you might enjoy.
  7. Nice job Dave, I like it! The carbs turned out great and I love the wheel choice.
  8. I like the new version also. I'm starting to really like this kit again. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Nicely Done!
  10. It looks like the kids have been busy for a while with that pile of dirt. Nice job with the weathering!
  11. My nostalgia goes back to the time when I was 8 years old to 16, when I started thinking about owning my first car, all the time building models and rideing my bike around the streets admiring other people's rides. This was 1958 to 1966 and I still love these cars today and of course the hot rods during this time period. It all seemed to crash around the Vietnam war era.
  12. I like it a lot, very nice weathering, it gives me some inspiration for one I've been working on. I like the story also and the engine choice.
  13. WOW! It came out great!
  14. More Eye Candy Please! The color of Stacy's says it all for a time piece! There is never going to be too many '32 kits.
  15. Nice job!! ...I assume the wheels were chrome and you brush painted everything but, the chrome, is that correct? ...I really like that look also.
  16. Nice job on the car and a good story to go with it! I've owned a 1:1 coupe and a flatback. Revell should make a humpback next. Right after I converted a flatback to a coupe they came out with the coupe.
  17. It looks like a fun build and I love the tires!
  18. That is a sweet kit and yours looks awesome!..... I like the color and I agree we need more pictures.
  19. When they come out in 1/25th scale I hope we can all still afford them. ..LOL
  20. I like to try and put a little of my heart into each build these days. If you don't love it than why do it? (unless someone is paying you) My club had a theme to build something out of your comfort zone one month and I chose an F14 I purchased at a garage sale for 10 cents. It was fun at first when I was painting it then, when I started painting the missiles I started feeling ill. I decided to change it to a race plane and at the end felt like it was a waste of good paint. Bottom line, I will never build another military model. It went in the trash can when I got home. As for me, I will stick to what I truly love. As for model gifts, they will have the same fate as the F14 unless I truly love them, or just they will sit on the shelf.
  21. Please build some more, very nice!
  22. It looks good in gold! I saw this kit at my LHS yesterday. It was opened with the engine and other parts missing. He wanted $22 so had to pass. He deals in a lot of used kits but, I have had some surprises with these kits. I will spring for a new one some time.
  23. My paasche H single action has only 3 parts to clean besides wipeing out the cup. It cost around $60. One "O" ring on the tip, no problem. I've been useing it for abot 15 years.
  24. These paint jobs came out great, I don't know which one like best!
  25. Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I originally wanted to paint this blue like the box art but, felt like the color was already taken. If you want to use pink feel free to do so, it is Testors fifties pink. I like the "Porkies" idea!
