  1. First of all thanks to everyone who commented on this thread. This is a two year old build way before I knew about the Forum. I have learned a lot from you guys already, I love it here! I wish I was half as good as some of you. To answer all questions; I didn't put much wear on tires two years ago I admit the first one would look way better with more distress, the paint was Dupli Color cranberry (I don't know if they still make it) on the second one, although the vents may appear to be opened I assure you they are not, I wish I was that good. Sorry Harry for being a little slow at the beginning with my photos, I had not yet dowloaded them to Photobucket when I began this post so, had to stop and take care of that. I promise I will get better.
  2. Beautifully awesome, I love it!!!

  9. This is a two year old build. I had two kits the AMT Classic and the older Lindberg offering that were basically the same. The idea was to make a before and after. Hope you enjoy. http:// 1181.photobucket.com
  10. It's from Kurtis midget. After looking at these photos I see a lot of room for improvement. Lol. It was a one day build and I was amazed with it at the time.
  11. Here's what I'm working on today.
  12. I posted this in December, here are some better pictures of a parts box one day build. Cowl from '36 Ford roadster (narrowed), sides are '37 Ford running boards, frame is model A.
  13. My dad had a 1950 Dodge and had to install after market turn signals.
  14. Sounds to me like what we need is a resin caster to step up to the plate and make the parts for a full detail kit for the existing offer, which would still make it a rare piece not unlike the 1:1. Anybody?
  15. I like what I can see, hope you keep the pictures coming.
  16. Thats a nice stable of cars! Love your 1:1 ride.
