  1. I love it in red and in stock form. I remember voting for the Nova kit to be produced back in the '80s on a survey at a model car show. This is my all time favorite muscle car. I had a little trouble with the front suspendtion on mine, as I remember. I built two one red and one in a blue close to original color for Nova. I have the Jenkins version to build and it will go stock Jenkins style.
  2. I put license plates on as a final touch and then usually post pictures on here.
  3. Nice truck! The flames work really well on that yellow paint. I love the wheel choice also. Great job.
  4. I love all the Rat Roaster parts on it. Looks good as a coupe. I think Stacy is a busy man, he might get around to looking at his mail eventually. For what it's worth I love it!
  5. Nice clean build. I'm with you on building this one stock. I have built the '34 five times now, all not too far from stock. They all have the basic flathead and wire wheels except one with newer Ford wheels. I keep thinking I will try a top chop or a fenderless rod but, they always come out about the same. You just can't beat this kit for being right on.
  6. Nice work! I've never seen this done, very cool.
  7. When I was in Korea the God awful aroma of Kimshi filled the air always. Here in the States I would say Liver and Onions win. A guy I worked with once brought a crock pot to work full of liver and onions. The aroma made me want to leave work. The guys kept trying to get me to taste just a bite so, I finally agreed and regreated it for the next three days. Between the belching and the laxative effect it had on me I can honestly say this was the worst.
  8. Funny, I am just now smelling how awful this Banquet chicken nugget meal smells that my grandson is eating. He loves them! I may have to hold my nose while I eat my pizza.
  9. What ever colors you pick will be awesome Harry, I don't think you need my help. I will be watching for it.
  10. Had no idea these could look this good right out of the box. Nice paint and finish, great model!
  11. Awesome job Cobraman! I love the pair together.
  12. Really, really, really nice to see his again. Thanks for bringing it back to the top. Love the black and white photo.
  13. You sound like a Rebel. The colors are pretty wild too! I like the gasser the best. Nice work building them the way you like.
  14. You did better than I did! I saw a hardtop model this year for $60 and was very tempted but, passed on it. I believe I paid somewhere around $107, honestly don't remember. I remember beeing happy and thinking "Oh No" at the same time when I won the auction. Just had to have it to complete my story of a first 1:25 scale model. I really never did like Edsels is the ironic part. My first ridiculous purchase off ebay now. I think the original kit was around $1.39. It's nice having the original box but, I wish it was in better shape. I'm starting to feel like a collector saying that since I never save the boxes after I build them.
  15. I did put down some serious $ for this one on ebay, had to have it. I hate it and love it at the same time. My first 1/25 model was a '60 Edsel and until I found this I never thought I would see another. Ebay did the search for me and I got the winning bid!!! I wanted a '60 Ford back in 1960 and the Edsel is all they had left. It will get painted like my original.
  16. It turned out pretty decent. We had a wip on here in 2012 in community builds for worst kits or "Nightmare Kits". Mine was the Monogram '55 Chevy. here's the link. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=68202
  17. Great, I assumed you were much younger and unfamular with AMT kits, So I guess you know all about them. My main focus has always been cars and trucks, although I have built a dozen or so planes. I noticed some of your other builds on another thread, you do nice work. I am not much younger than you at 64.
  18. I have always loved AMT kits. It's just like the others have said. I grew up with them and still enjoy building reissues of the old kits. The recent kits by Revell and Moebius, just to name a couple that blow me away, the '57 Ford by Revell and the Hudson Hornets by Moebius. Many others are also superior to the old AMT kits. Back in the 1960s I felt like AMT was the superior brand. Hope you enjoy the hobby as much as I have.
  19. Awesome work on both models. I love the British sports cars. How about an MGB?
  20. I never pay full price. Most expensive model with a disount from Hobby Lobby was the reissued Monogram Big T. I think it was around $60. Edit I did put down some serious $ for this one on ebay, had to have it.
  21. Thanks Gary, I couldn't resist posting mine since it looks so close to yours. I tried to get a smaller picture but, this is the only size allowed for me. This is one of my favorites. You should look at some of Dr. Cranky's weathering of the '50 pickup. He does a lot of the blue hues, I love all his work. Here's the link. http://www.doctorcrankyslabratory.com/ Yours really reminds me of what he does.
  22. Being from Indiana we are Colts fans so, therefore my pick. Luck is on our side. I also love the Broncos with Payton. It's still a shame Indy had to let him go. The Super Bowl was very disappointing last year to me. There is only one winner at the end and please!!! anybody but, the Patriots!
  23. ....Wait, you didn't say there was going to be a her, I thought I was sailing solo.
  24. This is it!!!! My favorite post!!!
