  1. Iron Annie is just about ready for flight! Looks like all you need are the props.
  2. Oh, it's not done yet, but it's very close. Everything that you see there, except the frame & engine, is just placed there. If I sneeze it'll all fall apart. Knowing how this one has been going, probably another year until it's done! As for the next project, It's going to be the Revell 1957 Ford Custom as a Fire Chief's car. Well, that's the plan, anyway.
  3. Some nice looking Model T's, guys. Thanks for the inspiration. A.J., that Chief's Buggy is pretty much what I saw. How did you do the extinguishers? Where did you get the Model T pickup kits? The only one I've found is in the "Fruit Wagon" kit, and I'd rather not keep purchasing those as I don't need all the hot-rod stuff. I did pick up one of the AMT 1293 Model T Van kits, though.
  4. Nice looking Model T, Aaron. It looks nice in the USFS livery. I saw photos of a Fire Chief's Model T the other day. Really cool looking with the white tires. Not sure how I would make the brass water can on the running board, though.
  5. Finally getting back to this one. Wow! Has it really been almost a year? Decided to go a slightly different direction with the build as the C-Cab wasn't really fitting together all that well, and I got tired of fighting with it. Still going with black. Hoping to finish it up this weekend if I can. Needs another coat on the top. Oh, and I need to paint the headlights.
  6. This is a great thread. I have just about everything to make 3950, but I do have one question: I have both the AMT Kenworth W900 kits (one with the spring suspension & one with the torsion bar). Does anyone know what type of suspension 3950 might have had? I would have to guess that for a fleet truck it would have the lightest, cheapest suspension that they could get. The spring suspension in the AMT Kenworth W900 kit s a 38000#, I believe.
  7. Nice looking airframe. Are the engines well detailed in the kit?
  8. Nicely done wrecker, although I think it's in the wrong section. The added details are very nice. Where did you get the motorcycles?
  9. Those are some awesome looking California Hay Haulers, Clayton. We never see anything like that in New York. Where are they hauling the hay to? Are there just big hay farms in California, and they're just transporting it to some sort of distribution center? Or are these deliveries to individual horse farms?
  10. Nice job. I wonder if those red crosses really helped it in not getting shot down. I'd think that fighters could see them (assuming they looked), but not so sure about AAA. Guess you have to do something.
  11. Great looking tractor. Very nicely done.
  12. The Ju-52 was used by just about everybody & their brother (38 countries, including the US). Will this be a Luftwaffe version or a Regia Aeronautica aircraft?
  13. You build sailing ships? Cool! Let's see some. As far as that truck goes, it probably pulls a trailer as well. Nice snowplow on the front, too!
  14. Desert camo looks great. It looks like the Italian desert camo schemes.
  15. Nice looking K-100. Well done.
  16. Iron Annie looks pretty good so far.
  17. Some really nice builds.
  18. Wish you were that good a 12? I wish I were that good now at 47.
