  1. Thanks, guys. Aaron, I posted this over at The Scale Firehouse, too.
  2. Pretty neat little airplane. Must be about the size of a shilling!
  3. Ok, here is some information that I received from a guy who know a heck of a lot more about Mack than I do: "The first Cruiseliner (W series) came off the line in 1975, the last came of in 1983. There was and few years overlap with the Mack F model. Which confuses people to extend the Cruiseliner back farther than it was made. The AMT kit is a 1976 or 1977."
  4. Quite nice. I didn't know there were any 1/24 scale motorcycles.
  5. Very nice looking Mack. Well done.
  6. Thanks, Gator. There were some head scratching moments with that C-cab, so finally I said, "The heck with that!" and built it like this inspiration photo: Not totally sure about that spare tire mount, though. Looks like a leather strap.
  7. Nicely done! I always wondered why these star fighters are always shown so weathered. Must be from re-entry.
  8. Well done. I like how you did the Caterpillar 3406. Very sharp. Your landlord owns several Peterbilt 359? That's cool. Most of the Peterbilts around here are 379.
  9. Another one of my favorite USN WWII aircraft. The other is the Corsair!
  10. Looking nice, Phillip. You might want to put some flat black on the top of the nose in front of the cockpit, or the pilot won't be able to see a thing with the glare!
  11. I agree. Much better with the white mirrors.
  12. Wow! It's finally done! Here is the finished thread: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/114181-1925-ford-model-t-pickup/
  13. Finished this up today. It's from the AMT Fruit Wagon kit. The build was basically box-stock, but I didn't exactly follow the instructions. The only thing I added was the 1925 New York license plate. The body is Testors Gloss Black, and the canopy is Tamiya Semi-Gloss Black. In the end, it was you typical AMT kit (flash in odd places; thick, out of scale parts; ejector pin marks in places that you can't get to; bullet-proof glass). Would I build another one? Probably. It was an interesting build. Again, I want to thank Mike Laliberte (Lunnajammer) & Harry Pristovnik (Harry P.) for inspiring me to do the wood spokes; and to do this build in general. Here is the build thread (for what it's worth): http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/100967-1925-ford-model-t-pickup/
  14. Nice looking Corsair. You could always use this next time (assuming there is a next time): http://www.propblur.com/
  15. Very nice looking motorcycle. Doesn't look very comfortable, though.
  16. Exce4llent job, TĂșlio. Very well done.
  17. Great site! Thanks.
  18. I was thinking of New York. From the pic that Pat posted, I'm guessing that they were maybe 4" x 12"? Not really sure.
